Late period after previous chemical pregnancy

Hi everyone,
I had a chemical pregnancy 3 days after getting a BFP last month.
AF is now late again this month and I’m wondering if this is normal? I’m not sure if my cycle is messed up due to the CP? And how long is it going to take for my cycle to be normal?

I took a test but it was the middle of the day and I don’t think it worked as there was no line in the test window, going to try again tomorrow but I was absolutely heartbroken last month and I would hate to think this is happening all over again ☹️

I have had two chemical pregnancies, and I completely understand how you feel, it was devastating!!
First time I tested the day af was due, one BFP very very strong and kept getting fainter and fainter through the course of a week. It turned into a bfn and two days later af came.
Left it a month (everything went back to normal) then had another bfp.. two days later it turned into a bfn..
two months after that had happened, we got our bfp and it stayed and brought me my wonderful second child
I used to drive myself insane, constantly googling, looking for other people who had it happen to them.
Stay positive, good things do happen after the shit trust me xxx
