Wondered if anybody is in the same boat really..
My two children were conceived straight away however myself and my fiancé have been trying for almost 3 years with no luck.
All of the tests at the fertility clinic came back normal and due to our age the doc recommends we continue trying for another year before considering Ivf ( lm in my late twenties)
I'm feeling very frustrated as technically there is nothing wrong with either of us, the doc admits there's only a slim chance of it happening naturally.
I am so blessed to have the children I have but desperately want to expand our family with my husband to be. Anybody going through this x

Hi there OP, I am in the same boat as you except I've been trying 7 months with my partner (been off contraception for 11 months tracking 7) I conceived my son in 2 months and I got pregnant after him too literally straight away.
Both of us are really healthy 🤷‍♀️I'm the healthiest I've ever been so I don't know what to tell you. Maybe it's to do with your cervical mucus? Have they checked that? Sometimes it can have the opposite affect on a. Particular person's sperm, I read this in taking charge of your fertility xx

Hi miss Goldilocks Thankyou for your reply!
Thankyou for the heads up on the mucus thing, I have a routine appointment in a few weeks so I will talk to my gp about it. I did read something about that before actually but apparently it's very rare, but defo worth mentioning!
My fiancé had two semen analysis I had 3 lots of blood tests and was ovulating in all 3 cycles, it's seriously baffling! On a bright note I'm pleased we started trying when we did so we know it's not going to be easy for us, I just presumed it would happen straight away 😞
The clinic have basically told us to go back when we want to start ivf as there is nothing else they can do to help which is quite daunting, as you can imagine we have tried absolutely everything!
A massive good luck on your journey! I really hope it happens for you soon and you don't have to go down this route x

Yep, same here, got pregnant first month of trying with DS, now TTC 16 months with DH. It’s so hard and frustrating

LosingtheTTCplot · 02/03/2020 15:43
