Worked for me BUT I didn't actually try without. I knew I wanted a baby so pulled out all the stops. It won't do any harm, so give it a go!

bernardswatchplease · 28/02/2020 23:20

How long have you been trying? Are you also temping and using OPK's? X

Livinginhope20 · 29/02/2020 08:52

Iv been trying for 6 months, i have been using opks but decided to "not try" this month, used conceive plus but wasnt using it everytime we dtd, im supposedly on my fertile week and we have dtd every other day and we have used a small amount of pre seed inserted so just wanted to know if anybody has actually fell pregnant whilst using it

It sounds like you are trying though-what do you mean by not trying?

I used Preseed after 9 months of ttc and it worked first month!

Lazydaisydaydream · 29/02/2020 08:56

We used preseed when we conceived our son. I was on clomid and it made me really dry Blush so preseed was perfect. I haven't used any other brands so can't compare, but I really liked it. Could put it in advance, and it felt natural.

biscuit13 · 29/02/2020 08:58

@Livinginhope20 used preeseed in January like a normal lube, just on the outside. Nothing. Used it again this month but used it inside aswell with the applicator and found out a few days ago that im pregnant :)

Livinginhope20 · 29/02/2020 09:42

@Redlocks28 as in not using opks and temping and just dtd as the mood takes us, iv not been checking my app every single day to see if im on my fertile week, iv been less stressed this month because it hasnt been consuming my every thought, so to me that is me not trying and putting pressure on myself and DP. Im legit only asking if pre seed has worked for people nothing else Smile

Been trying for 6 months, used it this month first time and I’m not pregnant. Currently have AF.

Sorry for negative comment, i felt as though every comment I read about preseed was that it works first time and is the miracle to conceiving. I’m going to continue to use it next month and hope for the best 🤞🏼 Good luck to you too ❤️

TerribleImagination · 29/02/2020 11:54

I’ve been trying since October, used Pre Seed the second month and got pregnant, but miscarried. Only used it without the applicators straight after miscarriage - didn’t work. Used it as before with the applicators (and exact same DTD pattern as the month I got pregnant) and I didn’t get pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️ Soooo I think sometimes it could just be luck?!

elc19 · 29/02/2020 12:35

I always put a soft cup in afterwards and sleep with it in and take out in the morning and shower. I've heard it keeps the sperm close to cervix. I put 3/4 of a syringe inside me then the other quarter in the soft cup x

MyDcAreMarvel · 29/02/2020 12:39

Pressed doesn’t increase the chances of pregnancy and does not claim to , it just doesn’t damage sperm like other lubes do.

Redlocks28 · 29/02/2020 13:03

Pressed doesn’t increase the chances of pregnancy and does not claim to, it just doesn’t damage sperm like other lubes do.

I suppose the benefit of it is that if you don’t get much in the way of egg-white cervical mucus, it will provide a good environment for the sperm to travel in.

That was the situation I was in-I never seemed to produce much (wouldn’t have needed any of sort of lube as there was no dryness problem during sex!) so I would say this very much did increase my chances of pregnancy.

anotherypasswordtoremember · 29/02/2020 13:06

I'm a lube fan anyway so bought this when last tube of whatever we were using ran out. We did use it and I am 12 weeks now BUT I think that had more to do with ovulation strips. I used them in my December cycle and turns out I was ovulating 3 days later than my app predicted (so later than is average).

It's pretty good lube though! So no harm done. Bit pricey but a little goes a long way 😉

Nic165 · 29/02/2020 13:13

We used conceive plus (similar to preseed) while doing the Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP) - I highly recommend it. Got pregnant twice within 2 months

Nic165 · 29/02/2020 13:15

Not sure if that was clear... it was on two separate occasions i.e. I have 2 children both conceived in that way

MyDcAreMarvel · 29/02/2020 17:23

@Nic165 are they both boys?

bernardswatchplease · 29/02/2020 18:43

@MyDcAreMarvel why do you ask if they are boys?

ChampooPapi · 29/02/2020 19:58

I thought there was all that nother about conceive plus containing parabens? Which is definitely not good or natural for conception

ChampooPapi · 29/02/2020 19:58

*bother

MyDcAreMarvel · 29/02/2020 21:44

Because of the alkaline nature of pressed , it’s supposed to favour Y sperm.

bernardswatchplease · 29/02/2020 22:04

I had a girl using it.

@MyDcAreMarvel are you trying to choose the sex of your child?

MyDcAreMarvel · 29/02/2020 22:34

No not trying to choose the sex , I was just curious as the times I used pressed when trying to conceive had 3 boys. When I didn’t use pressed when I got pregnant with my girls.
