TTC #2 low egg count and blocked fallopiam tube - any success?

Hello,

Been TTCA #2 on and off for 15 months. Just turned 35 and DH suffers from ED. I assumed that was the problem, esepcially since we concieved number 1 at 31, albeit after 8 months.

However, last week I was told by my consultant that my egg count (sorry cant remember the technical name) is the very low end of normal, 6.

Now today I have had a HSG and been told that my left fallopian tube is blocked. No further info so no idea with what or the extent.

I am devestated and worried we are heading for IVF. We wont qualify on NHS due to my age and DS. I have a horrific needle phobia and in general terrified.

Has anyone else been in this situation and concieved naturally?

Will they be able to do anything about the blocked tube? Then maybe you still trying naturally, I’m sure the other ovary has more then enough egg supply. Wishing you well

I don't know yet. It was an xray consultant who did the test. I need to discuss the results with the fertility consultant. Need to ring today for an appointment.

Just feeling very low. I have no idea if it has always been blocked, and as such I concieved DS with it that way, or if it has happened since which makes it feel less likely this time round.

We are still trying naturally at the moment but starting to feel our days are numbered before we need intervention

Awwww I can understand why feel like that, hopefully the consultant can give you some good news and they can do something about the blocked tube.
