Please help?

My cycle is a little bit all over the place but according to my fermometer app I am 5 days late for my AF.

Last night I took a CB test and pretty sure there is a line (a weak one). DH can see it as well so this morning I did a CB digital this morning and it was a clear ‘Not Pregnant’

I’m booked for a smear test on Monday so don’t know what to do about going for that either.

Anyone had a similar experience?

Looks positive to me! Get a frer and restest. You can always cancel/post phone your smear

I’ve had bad evap lines with those but that does look like it has some colour to it. Get yourself a first response.good luck x

Some people have had positive results only in the afternoon. Clear blue isn't that sensitive. So agree with above- try frer. You should know before Monday.

Also due to give blood this afternoon so could do with knowing either way!

Will try and grab a FRER on my lunch - anyone know which supermarkets typically stock them as I couldn't find them in Asda.

Boots should sell them. I got my BFP on a CB a day before I got a BFP on a FRER. 🤞 it’s a BFP.

Thanks - having the BFN on a CB digital really makes me think it's not. Anyone had a similar situation to that (either way?)

The CB digitals are much less sensitive so if you're getting a faint line it's unlikely there's enough HCG in your system yet.

All digitals are waaay less sensitive than dye tests. Get a frer

Yeah, I got a faint line on a standard test and bfn on a digital the first time. They're so much less sensitive. Their marketing strategy is brilliant of course, but I always roll my eyes at the advert- clear answer my foot. Try a test again in three days.

I notice your original faint lines didn't seem to get any darker. I know it's way beyond the 10 mins but the test with the faint line was a very solid blue colour this morning (is it normal for it to get darker?)

Yeah, they do usually get darker as they dry.

Should it be darker if according to my app I’m late? Having said that I’m not sure if I’m a late ovulator. Anyone else had them this faint when AF is late?

There is a line there. Lines will be dark with FMU but paler during the day. They don't necessarily get darker the more pregnant you are. CB Digital need a higher level of hormone to indicate pregnancy so are not a reliable test in the first days, especially if you don't know you ovulation day.
