Clearblue digital OPK no peak fertility

Hi ladies,

Just wondered what your experiences of the clear blue digital ovulation tests are?

The past two days have been showing a flashing smiley face (high fertility) and then today it's completely negative. The last few months I've always had a peak. Making me worry I might not ovulate this month!

Has anyone else had this before and gone on to have become pregnant?

TTC baby #2 and this is our 5th cycle trying.

The test should carry on giving you the flashing smiley (high) until it reaches peak. It shouldn’t go back down to nothing. So it suggests a problem with the test.

I don't think it's likely it's the test as I have used two different testers and they are both negative. It's a strange one!

If you tried a second tester for the first time it would have given you a blank circle @2020BabyPlease as it always does on first use no matter where you are in your cycle because it’s establishing your baseline levels.

So as @BlueLadybird says there must be something wrong with the original tester. They are designed to continue giving a flashing smiley face until either you get a peak or you don’t use it for 48 hours.
