Hi mums

Can you please give me your view on how to read my basal body temperature?

I had my period on the 28th of January and my cycle is usually 30 days

I measured the following but cant say which day is ovulation day

D1 36.45
D2 35.99
D3 void
D4 36.5
D5 36.45
D6 36.26
D7 36.03
D8 36.35
D9 36.06
D10 36.48
D11 36.43
D12 36.25
D13 35.31
D14 36.68
D15 35.8
D16 36.8
D17 36.13 (today)

So either day 14 or day 16 (yesterday, my highest morning temp so far)?

Please help to shed some light :)

Thanks

These things are MUCH easier with a graph than a list!

Are you sure you have ovulated? You don’t have a consistent rise (it should stay high for a while after ovulation)

Thanks @crazychemist
Not sure at all I have ovulated. I m using cheap ovulation sticks 3 times a day and always negative.
Same last month. Never a positive.
I ve just stopped breastfeeding and these are my first 2 periods.
Maybe I m not ovulating ...

Hi @CyclingMumKingston, I don’t think I ovulate until my 3rd cycle after I stopped breastfeeding, but some people seem to start while still feeding. Maybe keep tracking for the rest of this cycle, it might just be a bit later than you think?

I just uploaded the temperature on the Naturalcycles app.
@crazychemist does it mean I might have a period but not be ovulating?
This is my second since I stopped breastfeeding.
Thanks a million!💐

You might not be ovulating. I don’t think you have enough information yet. When I first stopped breastfeeding, I had quite a few cycles where I had an almost positive OPK, but no temperature rise. About 5 days later I’d have another positive OPK. This could happen two or 3 times before I actually ovulated according to temperatures.

Stick with the OPKs and the charting until you have a definite answer
