hello, i am wondering whether to get excited or not? on monday i was 6 days late so did a test and there was a faint line saying positive so tuesday i was a week late did another test it was negative?! im so confused

Depends on the test as they can have different sensitivies to hcg. Retest tomorrow with the same a frer as they are very sensitive

It could be a chemical pregnancy OP where the egg has fertilised but not implanted properly. I've read figures that between 4 and 6/10 eggs that are fertilised don't implant so it's very common I'm afraid. Problem is that modern pregnancy tests give readings so early.
