Did it take longer with one pregnancy than another to get a positive test?

I've had two pregnancies. With both of those, I got a BFP pretty early on, before AF was due. My situation right now- Last 'real' period started 12/12/19. On 12/30/19 I had maybe a very early period, but the blood was different (pink) and lasted almost a week...never heavy, and never filling a liner. Nothing since then. Was very (TMI) aroused, and had sex w/ hubby 1/17 and 1/18. Still no period. Have taken too many tests since then and all BFN...except for one on Sunday 2/2- a squinter, might have the tiniest hint of a line... Anyway- have you ever gotten a BFP early with one pregnancy, and then taken forever to get a BFP with another pregnancy? Going crazy here.

Yes my last pregnancy I didn't get BFP until a few days after AF was due. I had a few squinters but mostly negatives prior to that. All previous pregnancies I tested positive 5-6 days before AF was due so I was very confused that time. That pregnancy is now 2 and a mini napoleon.

Thanks calimommy. It's reassuring to hear. I think I'm going to hold off testing again until the weekend. I have no tests in the house, and will resist buying any! If AF doesn't show up, I'll get one on Saturday and test again.

Definitely a good idea. Those lines are addictive and crushing when they don't show.

@PMB123 how did you get on?
