Negative blood test...missed period?

Good Afternoon All,

I was in hospital last week (15/01/20) with stomach pain - as part of their testing they did a blood and urine pregnancy test which were both negative.
This week my period is due (28/01/20) and I haven't yet come on. I know its early and I've had a negative test but is there any chance the bloods could have been to early? When should I do a home test?
Ovulated around 16th/17th.

The tests at the hospital were way to early if you are expecting AF to have come on the 28th. You were ovulating at the time the tests were done. I would test if you're late now.

I got the date I was in hospital wrong...was there 22nd.
Thank you R2D2, will do a test soon if AF doesn't appear.

Haven't done a test yet. I'm going to try and wait until the weekend.
