Hi everyone. I’m new to this site so please forgive me if I start babbling.

Last Wednesday 22-1-20 I did a clear blue test after being nearly a week late, I got a faint positive and thought my eyes were playing up. So did another 2 tests the day after 23.1.20 and they came back positive aswell. Over the weekend I felt unwell and had some bleeding which literally was only there to wipe and only happened the once. IV woken up this morning 28.1.20 and when I went to the loo I had blood again but it was like a period, it was quite stringy, sorry for tmi, and there wasn’t a mega lot but there was enough to be worried. Now I do have quite harsh cramps at the minute and I am still bleeding a period type amount but IV just done another test and it’s now saying negative? I don’t know what to think? Doctors estimate me to be around 5wks 4 days as of today but they think I’m having a miscarriage and basically told me to let nature run it’s course but to watch out for X Y and Z and to go to A&E if certain things occur. I’m just wondering if someone else has experienced this? I would have thought my test would still show positive?

I'm Sorry for what you're going through. If it was a chemical pregnancy it's likely the test would show negative by now.

Sorry to hear what you're going through. I had a miscarriage at 5+5, I started bleeding, doctors did a blood test and my HCG was only 17 so some tests would've already shown as negative. They said I'd lost it a few days before but it had taken a few days before I started bleeding.

Yes, unfortunately sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Really sorry x

Sorry for the late reply.

As suspected I’m having a miscarriage 😢 I’m currently in hospital as I was losing a lot of blood and had the most horrific pain. my cervix is open about 1.5cms and they could see product at the opening. I have a scan in the morning and am being closely monitored for this pain. Thanks for the replies guys xxx
