Hi all, not been trying long but I done a pregnancy test this morning and there was a very faint vertical line. Do you think it’s likely this is just a dodgy cheap test? It wasn’t the same thickness as the horizontal line but there was definitely a plus sign. Has this happened to anyone before? Can you attach photos to these posts? Because I have taken one to get opinions

I'm on the app and there's an option to add a photo by pressing the paperclip. I think if you're new you may not be able to. But you could upload to an image hosting site like tinypic.

You are right, I can see the paper clip but when I attempt to post it says I can't because I'm new. That's frustrating. I really need another set of eyes.

What colour is the faint line? And did it appear within the time?

Chlo151515 · 27/01/2020 12:06

It instantly appeared, less than a minute and I don't know what colour it was I couldn't tell. Was just a thin vertical line off centre

The Sainsbury's tests are known for doing that, its negative unless the lines are the same thickness.

Don’t use those tests. I’ve had two false positives on them! They’re awful.

Chlo151515 · 27/01/2020 14:55

That's terrible! BAU then haha
