8/9 days late in agony !!

So I was due my period last Friday, nothing at all. Just real bad cramps and backache. No achy boobs and only the faintest line on a frer Thursday/Friday so if I'm this late you'd think the tests would be positive if I was pregnant.
Anyone been in a similar situation? I've read online (stupid I know) and apparently ectopic pregnancy can be like this with lack of hcg. I do have endometriosis but my periods always come on time give or take a day or two sometimes. Never this late. Very frustrating.

When i had an ectopic 5 months ago i did a pregnancy test two weeks after my period was due and it was a clear positive test.
I also experienced bad cramping light to medium bleeding and brown discharge, all classic symptoms of an ectopic. The early pregnancy unit cannot see an ectopic until around 6 weeks pregnancy, so you are a bit early for them to check. Get a test which tells you number of weeks, if it says positive and six weeks plus and you are still in pain go down to the unit for a scan asap.
If you are pregnant and it's not an ectopic it could be early pregnancy or implantation cramps.
If you are not getting clear positive results but are pregnant it may be the HCG is not strong enough yet. If you continue to get faint lines sometimes it's a sign of very early miscarriage or an ectopic which is resolving itself

Thank you for the info @Banana1984 I'm spotting pink this evening. Started a couple hours ago and hasn't turned into anything heavier yet. Is this a bad sign? I've been taking painkillers all day and it feels much easier for a bit. I have a panty liner on and it's hardly anything on it. Should I wait until the morning maybe and see if it turns into period? Sorry I feel so useless at the moment and have never experienced this before so not sure what to think.xx

This is what's on my liner, this has been like this for 2-3 hours now so not my period (I did have intercourse earlier today) which didn't really help my pain but was bearable after taking painkillers his morning. Any ideas?
