Hi guys, so I’m new to all of this. Me and my OH have decided to start trying. I came off my pill 4th jan and I’ve had no bleeding whatsoever. I’ve also had cervical mucus which is clear and stretchy these last few days including my nipples being sore, a lot of spots and a horrid cold. I did a pregnancy test last week which was negative but only 2 days after I had my first bit of mucus (which I presumed was ovulation?)

Anyway I just wanted to see what anyone has experienced after coming off the pill and what u think to my symptoms. I’m going to do another test in 2 days which is 12 days after my first show of mucus.

Thanks in advance ☺️ X

It took 6 weeks for my AF to come after stopping the pill

I was on the mini pill where you don't get a withdrawal bleed and I also had crazy symptoms throughout the 6 weeks making me think I could be be PG but alas AF showed on cycle day 46 after stopping the pill

@Blondeandbroody yeah these symptoms are driving me crazy and keep thinking I am. I’ll let u know when I do my test in 2 days then I’ll know. Did u have a withdrawal bleed when u came off ur pill or did u not have anything until 46 days after?

Same as above, I came off the mini pill on 15th December and had spotting earlier this week. Nothing else! Sore boobs and really sensitive nipples, hormonal spots, mood swings, appetite changes, nausea etc etc etc but yeah not pregnant 😂
That's just what happens when you come off the pill I think, a lot of the symptoms are similar to pregnancy as they are both hormonal fluctuations

I was on the mini pill till August last year. Had regular 'periods' whilst on it. Had a withdrawal bleed 3 days later and my periods were back to normal pretty much straight away.

Sorry meant to add, your symptoms sound like ovulation to me rather than pregnancy

Hey :-) I came off my pill (cerazette) on 13 December 2019 and I still haven't had any bleed. I had sore boobs, cramps, mood swings and EWCM on and off for weeks.

Got the Clearblue digital test and had flashing smiley faces for 5 days and then the static smiley face a few days ago which says peak fertility.

Presuming it was correct I should have ovulated yesterday or the day before so made sure to dtd on both days of the static smiley face so now just waiting two weeks to see what happens!

Boobs are still really sore and today they are quite full. Ewcm has eased off now though still a small small amount.

It's been frustrating waiting to see when I would ovulate and waiting for a bleed after coming off the pill!

I didn’t want to do ovulation tests because I didn’t want to get obsessed with pregnancy and when we did it... I was just trying to work out with the mucus if I was ovulating myself and now all these other symptoms. It’s turning me into a crazy person 😂 as soon as I’ve had this baby I’m going back on the pill if it makes u feel like this haha x

I came off the pill on boxing day and just finished my first period. Last time it took me 3 cycles for my body to get back to normal and I got pregnant on cycle 4. I tried to spot signs but on cycle 4 I could see a noticable difference to cm and heaviness of my previous period compared to before. I did find once things went back to normal that ovulation testing was really helpful.
