If you've tracked BBT and had a BFP in the past...?

...did you see an implantation dip on your chart?

Would love to hear people's experiences with implantation dips, implantation bleeding and BBT rise after implantation (or lack thereof) on months when they got a BFP. Trying to get an idea of whether these are the norm or just happen occasionally!

A few years ago now, but i did have a noticeable dip on the month i conceived. Had dip on dpo6 down to 36.30 from 36.61 then straight back up to 36.60 on dpo7 and it stayed up pretty much constantly to around that temp or just a little higher until i got a bfp a week later. However i'm sure there were plenty of months where i had some sort of dip in the 2ww (before the normal decrease when my af was due) which turned out to be nothing.

I can post my bbt from the month I got my bfp if it would help you. X

bluemoon2468 · 23/01/2020 10:18

@Ele38 that would be great if you don't mind? 😊

Looks like I had one 6dpo. Tried adding a pic but it never works on the app for me, annoyingly!

bluemoon2468 · 23/01/2020 10:47

So @Ele38 looks like you ovulated on CD19 then at 8DPO your temp rose again, but with no implantation dip? Interesting to see that not everyone gets one!

Well no, the chart itself is saying day 17? That's what the red line is?

bluemoon2468 · 23/01/2020 11:58

@paintfairy oh really? As far as I was aware you have to have 3 consecutive temps above the coverline to show ovulation.

I've no idea how the app chooses to work it out. But that's what the vertical red line is. That only gets put on the chart once you ovulate. I use that app too.

paintfairy · 23/01/2020 12:05

So is the implantation dip possibly day 24? Which would be 7dpo if ovulation was day 17.

Mycrazylife85 · 23/01/2020 12:13

I'm interested in this as I haven't found much info regarding temps on here. I've found that my temp 9dpo and 10dpo has gone below the cover line. I don't think for one moment it is positive, it would have gone up today at 10dpo, I think it may indicate low progesterone though but can't find anything useful on here regarding bbt charts so this is good. Thank you all

Wanderer1 · 23/01/2020 12:38

Here is mine. I don't think there is an implantation dip

Hi, can anyine add insight as to why ff believes i ovulated cd18 and not cd 22? Of course, timing wise I desperately want to believe it was cd 18 and 4 dpo was implantation, know thats almost impossible. Been ttc 12 months. Im 36 OH is 48

@bluemoon2468i have a weird one from this month. Dip and BFP the same day! CD12, seems way too late to be an implantation dip, but I guess it must be? P.s. I have a BFP 2 days ago and yesterday I just haven't put it into the app - feels like I'm jinxing.

Anyway thought that might help!

This is the month I conceived, I’m now 13 weeks pregnant. I don’t think it’s really a dip but hope this is helpful xx
