Hey,

I had a chemical pregnancy December and bled for 5-days. Normal flow and didn’t feel any different to my usual period. Although I was 4 days late but probably due to the progesterone pessaries I was taking.

I was due to start my P 17th Jan but 6-days later no sign of it. Sore boobs, fatigue you name it, I have it! I actually feel like I am menstrating but without the blood flow.

Anyone experience this before? Advice, suggestions will be great !! X

Have you done a pregnancy test since you're late on af? X

@Hoping4no4 thanks for responding. I haven’t done a pregnancy test as I bled for 5 days following my MC and am in a same sex relationship so there isn’t any way I’m pregnant. The clinic asked me to repeat my test but seeing as it was 17th December lol I very much doubt it.

Still no period for me right now.

In case someone in a similar position reads this one day, I thought I would update.

So I came on my period 6-days late. I usually come on every 28-days like clock work. The latest I’ve ever been to start is 4 days. I had normal flow but I felt beyond tired the entire time. Blood clots and also some mild cramps in lower back and pelvic region.

Hopefully that’s helpful!

@PurpleRayne89 I had a chemical pregnancy at new year and am due my period again now ish, so this has been interesting for me. I wonder if I'll be a bit late this time. No sign yet and I'm at cycle day 25. Usually my cycle is 27 days at the most and I get a hint of it a few days before.

@CurbsideProphet I am glad you found it helpful. My clinic said it is normal after a biochemical pregnancy to be slightly late. Your next cycle could start 5-6 weeks after your last bleed from the pregnancy.

I’m sure your period will start soon. I had all the symptoms just no bleeding then I was woken at 4am, never been so happy to see my period arrive lol.
