Hi

I have quite long cycles ranging from 31-40 days and have been TTC since October. I just wondered how long did it take you all TC? I understand everyone is different but am curious as to how long it has taken.

TIA x

5 months. First 3 of those were waiting for periods to return after stopping long term pill use.

BabyBunnyMama · 20/01/2020 21:05

1st pregnancy was 3 or 4 months after I came off the pill, sadly resulted in miscarriage.
2nd pregnancy was 3ish months after miscarriage.

travellover · 20/01/2020 21:07

1st pregnancy - straight away first cycle after coming off the pill weeks before, sadly ended in MMC at 3 months.

First pregnancy 8 months, then had a mmc. Now pregnant again after another 8 months of trying. Cycles between 30-35 days. I even had fertility testing in October and DH were found to be both at optimum fertility. It's just luck!

Eeeeek2 · 20/01/2020 21:10

10 months
1st month (miscarriage)

Snowflake9 · 20/01/2020 21:11

Cycle average 31 days.

  • first pregnancy - 1 month ended in MMC
  • second pregnancy - 5 months , now have DS1

I took pregnancy vitamins and DH took multivitamins. I tracked my BBT too as some cycles were 39 days.

Dollywilde · 20/01/2020 21:13

Cycles were generally 30 - 35 days, it took us 8 cycles across 10 months. Started March 2019 and got my BFP in December.

mywrencalls · 20/01/2020 21:16

I'm 37, happened straight away. My periods were only 3 weeks apart, and my actual period only lasted a day or two. Was surprised it happened so quickly.

CeibaTree · 20/01/2020 21:19

3 months
8 months
9 months
Cycle lengths are usually between 27-29 days long.

Hotcuppatea · 20/01/2020 21:22

My cycles are 28 days like clockwork.

Nearly two years with my oldest and on my first cycle of trying with my second. Have been waiting for a third to come along for 10 years. Have given up now.

America5 · 20/01/2020 21:24

Thank you all for your input it really is appreciated ! Grin
I am really hoping it happens in the year 2020, fingers crossed!
