No period for 3 months. When to visit GP (PSOS)

Hi,

So basically I have PCOS, so I know why my periods are absent. I've been on metformin for about 2 months now, but I haven't had a period in 3 months. This is probably the longest I've been without one. Every day my stomach is so uncomfortable, I feel constantly bloated and it's really getting me down now...

When should I go back to my GP? If at all? I don't want to go and be shrugged off because it's a waste of everyone's time. I'm not even sure if they can give me anything to induce a period or not but I'm really not sure what to do next..

Thanks!
