So, the subject says it all! Although I feel I may have more a chance this month.
I came off the pill December - last month we was out. But this month, I apparently ovulated yesterday 12/01/20. We did the deed twice 2 days before ovulation... so today Iam 1dpo.

Anyone in the same that wants to join?
I really want to try not symptom spot, but yesterday I felt the cramps - which led me to think it was ovulation.

@polejunkie not particularly but didn't have any liners left! I was going to do a food shop at the weekend & get more then ready for next week! I have been taken by surprise, this has totally messed with my menstrual chi 😂😂

@LV1987 salted caramel is my fave!!! Where from? I am going to have to go my sanitary supplies at lunch time may as well hit the cookie aisle too and make it worth my while

@TangBloodyFastic - I just wouldn't be convinced it's full on AF based on that, still hit the cookie aisle though haha

Oh my gaaaaad salted caramel is my absolute favourite! I’m gonna have to get my bake on this weekend! Just planning a day out Saturday and actually might take my newly 3 year old to the cinema for the first time 😬

So I shall explain the best I can!!!

I am 8dpo and completely addicted to peeing on a stick so I took a test this morning and there was a very very faded line so I then went and bought a early detection clear blue digital test I then watched a YouTube video of a lady that’s got two faded double lines on a cheap test and not pregnant on a digital test which was the same as what I got but the lady in the video ripped apart the digital test to expose theStrip inside and she had two lines now call me crazy but I done the same thing and by complete and utter surprise I can see two lines am I pregnant help me I am going out of my mind

@Brownbaby20 sorry there's no way of knowing. You need to wait a few days and test again. The 2nd line should get darker if you are pregnant

It's a good sign if you got a positive that early, but yes, best thing you can do is wait and test again (the waiting is very hard I know) I think pulling apart the tests is probably best avoided as it's not how they are supposed to be used and lots of people get evap lines etc so in some cases they can be missleading. Fingers crossed for you, but maybe use the same cheap test tomorrow with FMU? It might be that it's a better test, as in it picks up with les HGC?

I have read that a lot of clear blues continue giving negatives after others pick up on pregnancy, so maybe they just aren't very accurate x

That is super early @Brownbaby20... I know that you want to know right now, but I agree with the other ladies. You're best of waiting a couple more days to get a reliable result :)

I have officially tested this morning and in was negative, but I'm alright with that, certainly don't feel miserable like I did last month! I'm in the realms of AF now, so any symptoms I have can very easily be linked to that - Will await her arrival on Monday!

My dad is out of hospital too after a 5 day stay, so fingers crossed for a restful weekend!

@polejunkie sorry to hear you got a BFN but, as is always said on here, you're not out until AF arrives.

I have absolutely no idea what is going on with me. Absolutely nothing today. It's so weird, this has never happened before!
The only thing that has changed is I'm now taking folic acid, does this have any bearing on cycle abnormalities?

I haven't tested yet as I only have a CB and a cheapy from somewhere that I don't think will pick up anything at the moment as I'm not officially late - I'm supposedly 11DPO but not sure what date I actually ovulated so could be either side of that i guess.

I don't want to become obsessed with POAS so will wait until the end of next week, if AF a no show by then, I'll take a test. I'm sure it's going to be a battle with myself not to test before then though

It does sound rather odd, and it certainly will be a test of wills - Just remember you aren't harming anyone by testing, sometimes I think we mentally need it (positive or negative) it's kind of helped me focus on other things again this morning...

I must say I take my hat of to those trying to have a baby who never POAS - I genuinely do not have that level of patience haha - Obviously got money to burn

I'm 11dpo too - When is AF officially due for you? I don't believe Folic Acid does anything to cycles, but I'm not well versed... x

@polejunkie I have 3different apps and all are saying Tuesday
I was loosely using 1of the apps last year purely to track my periods it was pretty much to the date most months

What's bugging me is I'm thinking "this is it, this is completely abnormal for me so much mean I am pregnant" and in reality it's probably just one of those things ☹️

We are on a very similar timeline then! My AF is as regular as clockwork and then bam, 3 days early last cycle, which I must say really confused me... It is hard, but here I am again, abdominal pain for most of the week, way earlier than I would ever experience AF cramps, but what do I really know - Maybe I'm looking out for this stuff just because I want to be pregnant - We're all the same, don't worry!

With my daughter, I literally knew I was pregnant within days, before AF - Part of me is now even more confused by 'feeling pregnant' now because I feel exactly the same as I did then... But I'm probably not - go figure!

I've got tonnes to do this weekend luckily so won't be sat thinking about all this.

I know what you mean and if that's what you feel will happen definitely hold off. I weirdly feel better for knowing today, it kind of pacifies me I guess even though it was neg, odd x
