So, the subject says it all! Although I feel I may have more a chance this month.
I came off the pill December - last month we was out. But this month, I apparently ovulated yesterday 12/01/20. We did the deed twice 2 days before ovulation... so today Iam 1dpo.

Anyone in the same that wants to join?
I really want to try not symptom spot, but yesterday I felt the cramps - which led me to think it was ovulation.
Confused

Hope you're all staying safe in this storm... Perfect reason to stay inside and cuddle 😉

On a separate note, I'm thinking of making the switch to shampoo bars once my aussie has run out... Does anyone have any recommendations? I feel like aussie is a hard act to follow, which has made me hold off for a while now 😅

Avacadoandtoast · 09/02/2020 21:55

@polejunkie I’m feeling much better thank you - I think it was just a little bit of the cold!
How is everyone?! We need to get a couple of positives this month - surely!!

polejunkie · 09/02/2020 21:59

Glad you’re feeling better!

This storm is horrendous, so windy!! We’ve had a nice quiet weekend, not felt like doing much tbh. Work again tomorrow, that’s where I do all my obsessing haha, I’m due AF a week tomorrow so it’s not long to wait for me really and I’m calm - not symptom spotting so... Go me!! X

Kates21 · 09/02/2020 22:11

Hey girls.

I’ve not had my usual cramps around O - weird! I’ve had 2 awful heads, also a very unpleasant pain in left kidney. Still not obsessing tbh.... I’d be 2dpo if O occurred Friday like apps say.

polejunkie · 10/02/2020 08:18

I'm 7dpo now with a week til AF - This is the determining week really isn't it... Implantation or no implantation lol - No symptoms at all, so will just keep my head down and stay busy!

Have a good week everyone, happy waiting / obsessing / BDing etc etc etc x

LV1987 · 10/02/2020 08:50

My app is saying I'm 2dpo, I think maybe more like 4...but I'm going to follow the app as less chance that way of testing too early!!

polejunkie · 10/02/2020 08:52

@LV1987 I'm wondering if I can just wait for AF this time... At the moment I reckon I can... We'll see x

Kates21 · 10/02/2020 09:09

@polejunkie
@LV1987

I’m waiting for AF due 21st.
I’m very similar right now to when I fell pregnant last time, just didn’t worry or symptom spot. Not checked Cm or cp. just going right with it, that’s why I think I’ve not felt cramps cause I haven’t been looking for them x

@Kates21 Fingers crossed for you, you are very calm and collected Grin

Kates21 · 10/02/2020 10:37

@polejunkie

Last couple it months have been really difficult seeing negatives and testing early. So I’m adamant this month, I’m not buying tests and don’t have any at home. X

I'm passed the TWW had negative Pregnancy tests up until last week. Period is now 9 days late. I've given up on testing now and I'm just waiting for my period to come. I've loads of symptoms like my last Pregnancy such as nausea, heartburn, painful boobs and burning sensations in my nipples plus fatigue and I'm struggling to breathe again but with the negative tests I'm guessing there just period signs for me. I'm at the Drs Wednesday for my PCOS check so I'll mention everything then. I'll also add that my periods have been spot on pretty much most of the time for the last year too

TangBloodyFastic · 10/02/2020 10:54

Morning all!
I'm approx 7-8 DPO. I started with spotting on Saturday, which would have only been roughly 5-6 DPO.
I'm very regular and only usually have spotting in the days running up to AF. This is extremely early for me as not due on until next week but isn't this too early for implantation bleeding? Hmm

Kates21 · 10/02/2020 11:01

@TangBloodyFastic
Hey!!

Implantation can occur from 6-12dpo / BUT can be either side of that timescale. X

polejunkie · 10/02/2020 11:09

@Lozz22 - That is very annoying and so odd - 9 days late as well - Definitely check in with your Dr!

@Tangbloodyfastic - Greta signs for you, you could be having implantation bleeding - Sending baby dust your way Grin

@Kates21 - Same as, negatives are tough, so is symptom spotting, I have no tests and will not buy any until AF is late!!

TangBloodyFastic · 10/02/2020 11:16

Thanks @polejunkie & @kates21
I'm convinced it's just my body playing tricks on me!
I don't like this symptom spotting lark, your imagination runs wild but when it's out of the ordinary it's really hard to ignore isn't it!

polejunkie · 10/02/2020 11:25

@TangBloodyFastic 100% if my AF was late I'd be convinced I was pregnant, I manage to convince myself before she's late too haha Confused I think the symptoms being so similar are what causes most of the heartache, we all believe it might be our lucky month only for our hopes to be dashed Sad
Chin up!

TangBloodyFastic · 10/02/2020 11:38

Thanks @polejunkie tbh I am still very much in the mindset of if it happens it happens luckily - I'm guessing that will lessen if the months start to tick by
It's not until you start TTC that you realise how naive you've been and that the window of opportunity is unbelievably small!

polejunkie · 10/02/2020 11:41

@TangBloodyFastic I agree fully, it does also make you wonder how so many people conceive so easily (or even by accident) when we're all actively trying and trying to perfect the timing and it still doesn't stick! Positivity all the way, it will happen, when it's our time - I fell very quickly with my first so I certainly shouldn't complain at this point x

LV1987 · 10/02/2020 12:57

@TangBloodyFastic definitely does! You don't really appreciate until you're here the impact that something as simple as feeling a little off colour can have on that window too... It's mad. I'm starting to wonder how the human race has survived!

TangBloodyFastic · 10/02/2020 13:55

@LV1987 I know!!!!! Maybe I'll know next week if I am due to increase the population by 1 Grin

polejunkie · 10/02/2020 15:25

@TangBloodyFastic - You and me both ahaha

LV1987 · 10/02/2020 17:29

@TangBloodyFastic and @polejunkie I really hope I'm with you, I'm already bored of this trying malarkey. After one month which wasn't even a real month as I had only just stopped taking the pill. Says a lot for the patience I will have as a mother 🙊

AutumnCat · 10/02/2020 20:42

@lv1987 I use shampoo bars from lush, it depends on your hair type which will suit you best. Ive also started using their solid conditioner in particular the pale green one and the black one i like a lot. I also have found the conditioners work way better in the soft water area I've moved to compared to the hard water area I used to live in.

@ everyone else this us where my really long cycle is tedious, I'm not even close to ovulating yet. Still we are aiming for a relaxed schedule of just DTD as often as we can handle without worrying about ovulation or anything. Got some preseed lube (I didn't realise it came with about 10 plastic applicators which seems a real waste of plastic Shock)

polejunkie · 11/02/2020 08:11

Morning all - How are we?

At the risk of sounding like a 'symptom spotter' I have had cramping all night and still this morning along with night sweats... 6 days til AF and feeling quite relaxed about it, just can't ignore these cramps lol x

Kates21 · 11/02/2020 09:10

@polejunkie

Sounds good! Is this regular for you?

I checked out my symptoms last month and had ovulation cramps from ovulation day right the way through til AF!

Whereas this month, nothing not a blip! No cramps, backache, sore boobs.
