Late period after implant!

I only had my implant out on 6th December and period started on 9th December (very light spotting throughout entire period, not like usual!) have become addicted to pregnancy tests(!!!) pretty sure no positive lines are coming up but Where's my period??? I know it's unlikely I've conceived that quickly too. Anyone else had this after having the implant out?? Tried to buy early reading tests but my local shop has been out of them for the whole week! No chance to go until the weekend but I can't stand being in limbo!! Plus its my bday on Friday and don't want to be having a birthday drinky if I'm already pregnant! Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar. Stupidly getting my hopes up every day my period doesn't show! I was expecting it 2 days ago and usually regular. I guess do another test is my only option 😩😩 thanks in advance for any advice or similar experiences xxx

Give yourself a break, it's unlikely that the sporting straight away wasn't a period but simply a reaction to the sudden removal of the hormone in the implant. I've had four now and despite being pretty regular 8 weeks after an implant with no bleed is considered normal

I'm 18 months after having the implant out and only just getting back to normal. Everyone is different though. Some women fall straight away! I've not had even a sniff of a positive x

Thanks, yeah you're right. I'm the most impatient person ever that's all. And I get my hopes up far too easily! Like when I get an email from the lottery I always hold my breath thinking it's a big win (but usually just a free lucky dip 😂) thanks for replying!
