Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can give any advice on how best to conceive when you have heavy and irregular periods. I've always had terrible periods, and since coming off the pill in 2017 they have not improved, my longest period so far was 44 days, and I'm currently off work due to the pain and heavy bleeding (I'm regularly anaemic because of them). Everything is currently under investigation with my GP, but it's looking increasingly likely that there will be no PCOS/endo/fibroids cause for them. So I was just wanting to check whether anyone else has successfully conceived under these sort of circumstances, and if there was any helpful hints people had with regards to giving yourself the best chance of conceiving? TIA!

Hi, I conceived with irregular periods, but I had really short cycles. We just DTD every 2-3 days and didn’t overthink it. However, I don’t want to compare as you may have other things going on. Best of luck x
