Pregnancy after Christmas festivities

I have just found out I am pregnant, last period beginning of Dec so very early. We were trying (i.e monitoring temperature etc.) but decided to have Dec off as I wanted to enjoy Christmas parties etc. I am now really worried as I was drinking from mid December at the work party and then up until New year. The work Christmas party was the worst! Looking back I think I may have concieved the night before. After that it was sharing a bottle of wine with DH etc. Has anyone else done the same? Should I be concerned?

No need to worry. There is no placenta so nothing would have transferred.

Unless you are TTC, a lot of people don’t track cycles so don’t find out until about 5/6 weeks. I was the same, drank, smoked and then found out at 6 weeks. No effects on DD.

I did the same - DD is now 8! I definitely over indulged at Christmas 2010!

As PP said, no harm done.

Congratulations!
