Pregnancy after Christmas festivities

I have just found out I am pregnant, last period beginning of Dec so very early. We were trying (i.e monitoring temperature etc.) but decided to have Dec off as I wanted to enjoy Christmas parties etc. I am now really worried as I was drinking from mid December at the work party and then up until New year. The work Christmas party was the worst! Looking back I think I may have concieved the night before. After that it was sharing a bottle of wine with DH etc. Has anyone else done the same? Should I be concerned?

This happened to me too and happens to many others! Try not to worry! Smile. I was drinking ciders and daily glasses of wine in the evening very early on but as soon as I found out I stopped drinking! Theres people that even drink throughout pregnancy and 9/10 them and baby are fine but its just not recommended.

Don't worry I'm sure a lot of expecting mums have been there! At such an early point the placenta isn't even attached and therefore baby won't be getting any of that from you they'll be happily sorting themselves. Enjoy your pregnancy and don't worry about the little things.... of which they'll be plenty Grin
