I’m currently on the pill and not TTC (best of luck to anyone who is!!), I’ve been on the pill for years and always have fairly heavy periods.
A few months ago I had a scare as my period was extremely light (light for one day and then basically stopped) and I thought it could be implantation. I took a fair few tests, some I swore a saw lines but they were colourless and most were negative anyway. Turned out not to be pregnant (or at least I’d know by now!)
This month (and last) i had back-to-back pill packs to avoid getting my period when on holiday. I finished the second pack last Wednesday and I’m currently “on my period”, which started on Sunday which is about normal for me, but like the time I mentioned previously, this was VERY light, and on Monday I had NOTHING. Today however, I did have blood this morning, which was dark/bright red and brown so I didn’t think it could be implantation, and it was fairly normal, slightly on the light side for my usual flow. Seems to have stopped by tonight however. I didn’t think I could be pregnant as the circumstances were similar to last time, if anything this bleed was slightly more, but I ordered 2 tests yesterday and decided to take one. Peed in a cup, (first response tests) and a white line appeared with the control like, this was like the tests I had taken a few months ago but evidently wasn’t pregnant. I took the other test at the same time, with the same urine sample, and it was flat out negative. I took the first test out of the plastic and the “white line” was DEFINITELY PINK, faint but undeniable. I’m not sure how long after the initial test this was but would it turn pink after the allocated time slot? I’m really unsure as to what this means. I last had sex just under 3 weeks ago
