This can't be a real line surely?

Hey, so this is my story. Had coil removed February 2019, had first period April time. Been ttc ever since. Had some Dodgy lines a few months ago. Last month December I had a positive frer a week before af was due. Had a couple more Faint lines throughout the week also some negatives. Had a gynaecologist appointment on the 19th , had internal scan etc etc not to do with pregnancy but my endo. He scanned my womb and everything so I know I wasn't pregnant well he never mentioned it. I was due period 20th, bang on time although after scan I was spotting so I think he brought it on a bit. Anyway very heavy bleed for half a day on the 20th and then spotting for 2 More days after that. Nothing like a real period at all. Ever since haven't really had any signs of ovulation or anything haven't tracked this month. Just dtd for 4 days in a row leading up to new year and then on the 3rd. Anyway tonight whilst sitting alone I thought I'd do a test.. don't know why and it was only an internet cheapie. But there's a faint line? If I ovulated when I should have (like the same as last month) this could only make me 6-8dpo maybe before I don't actually know this month at all. Photo is attached. Do you think that's possible or should I count this an an Evap or false positive? I will test again later after I've held for another couple hours. Any help would be great. I am not getting hopes up as wayyyy to early I think. It's a squinter but there and within a min or two xx

I can see a shadow of a line but wouldn't yet get too excited. Try to retest in 48 hrs. If you're pregnant it should be more visible the line. Fingers crossed for you!

I can see it, but I can ALWAYS see where the line would be on those tests. I would not take that as a positive but would test again in a few days to double check.

On those tests you really need more colour in the line before it's a positive. I had a couple that looked identical to that last week, I'm not pregnant. In fact I've had lots of squinters with those tests and the only time I was actually pregnant there was no doubt, it was a faint but pink line.

@R2D2abc I'm not getting my hopes up. Not after last months confusion but thank you. I will test again later cuz I won't be able to just leave it. Then I'll leave it a couple days x

@Emmagen I know that these aren't very reliable. The price you pay I wouldn't expect them to be reliable lol 😂 but thank you I sure will be testing again. I have never really had a line on these, not even when the frer last month had a clear line but turns out that was either a chemical or a very bad test. Just baffled me that it came up so soon x

Another faint line.. so hard to pick up on camera but it's there irl. Going to leave it and test again Thursday morning I think try not to think too much into it. Probs just evap lines. That's just my luck recently xx

I'm having exactly the same atm with these tests I can't post pics as I'm a new user! 🙄🙄 but I have definite lines for the last 2 days, I'm 9-10 dpo I've ran out and ordered some first response test that should arrive tomorrow! Xx

Ahhh @Kendrick12 good luck let me know how you get on. You should be able to upload soon only a day or two I think. Mines so early I don't even know what to think x

@Mich2020 I will let you know tomorrow. I just don’t know if my lines have colour or are just evap lines it would be unlucky to get 4 in a row but who knows! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Xxx

The indents on those tests are the worst, I really hope they get darker xxx

I haven't tested again this morning was going to hold out until tomorrow morning. Just to see. But may sneak one in tonight haha.
@iswhois thank you there's defo something there, but like others have said could be evap lines. Funny though because other months when used these I've had stark white bfns xx

@mitch2020 I've tested twice today with FRER and 2 still very faint but definitely pink lines within the 3 minute time frame! Trying to stop myself from getting a little excited as I know it's so early days!!!! Have you tested again yet?? Xx

@Kendrick12 omg 😆 that's brill news. Your still so early on if they are real bfp's so I'll keep my fingers tightly crossed for you. No I haven't tested again yet. But I will once I've cooked dinner etc. Will hold myself until then. How exciting for you though. Hopefully will let you upload soon xx

I have tested again with the cheapies, even fainter than yesterday's but still there. Not getting my
Hopes up at all because I know they are prob just indent/Evaps. Will leave it probably do one Friday morning then leave it until Sunday or Monday morning xx

@Mich2020 my first ones on those looked like that and then clearer on the FRER tests today. :-) xxx

Try a FRER test. They are the most reliable IMO (and I was a chronic tester, tried them all....multiple times!!)

I don't have any frer and don't want to get my hopes up like last month. I had a clear positive on a frer then the next day it was gone and then again I had a faint line then I bled about a week after. I got so excited to be let down xx

Hi, I’ve been having such faint lines with these strips, sometimes they come then go again, but I know they aren’t doing the same on all because the ones I do with fmu are more noticeable than afternoon tests (I am a testing addict!) I have one FRER which I really want to try in the morning, I think I will be 11dpo tomorrow, should I wait?

Hey @gg321 I haven't used my fmu with one of these yet. All of these tests are afternoon and evening ones. I might try my last one tomorrow or Friday morning with fmu. I'd say that you'd prob get a positive frer if your having lines on these tests. And especially at 11dpo with fmu. Good luck. Please update. Do you have any photos of your tests? Xx

But I’m not sure if I have been having lines, I had this one attached 8dpo and others similar but they often come up quite noticeably then fade with time, the line I saw in this one I couldn’t see it now so I don’t know

@gg321 much more obvious than my lines. Xx

But they don’t stay 🤔 maybe cos early and not enough h g to stick. I have read some bad reviews about these strips saying they were still testing negative after other brands picked up bfps, but then I also read not unknown to give out faint false positives. Im tempted to try another cheapy later tonight after a 4 hour hold and save the FRER for the morning. This uncertainty is so mind frazzling!!
