Implantation cramps but no bleeding

Hi All,

I am currently 9dpo and this morning woke up to pretty intense cramps at 5am. They were low down, rather than being tummy cramps and subsided slightly once I had walked around a bit. I can feel them ever so slightly now but nothing like it was this morning. My cycle is 34 days and so AF isn't due until 7th. I don't usually get cramps this far before my period, and so am hoping that they could implantation? I've had no spotting at all though so not sure it's that and trying not to get my hopes up.

Does anyone experience implantation cramps but no bleeding?

Thank you xxxxx

I have been pregnant once ending in MMC and I don’t remember having implantation bleeding but I’m having something very similar. From the day after ovulation I’ve been having cramps and sometimes very intense I’m now 7dpo and having them at least once a day.
I’m hoping it’s a positive sign. Fingers crossed for us both Smile

@Sweetpea12 thank you! I haven't felt any cramps until yesterday really and then woke up to very strong ones at 5am this morning. So trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard. I've been away for Christmas with no access to a pharmacy which has been great as I haven't been able to buy a test! Fingers crossed xxx

I stupidly bought a test today of course BFN but I couldn’t resist it I’ve felt so strange for a whole week now so hoping something comes from it xx

Flossie333 · 01/01/2020 11:39

@Sweetpea12 ah it's so tough!! You've still got ages to go yet and could have not implanted yet. I'm currently 10 dpo and seem to have no real symptoms apart from the intense cramping yesterday morning (which is def unusual for me). Crossing everything for us! I'm trying to hold of testing until Friday morning. Xxxx

Most people don't get implantation bleeding.

Sweetpea12 · 01/01/2020 12:54

@flossie333 I’m holding out now until Friday as waiting on tests coming and will be 10dpo by then. It’s frustrating the tww I didn’t have this first time as only realised I was pregnant at 8 weeks

2020BetterBeBetter · 01/01/2020 12:56

Cramps for large parts of the first trimester are really common. They aren’t necessarily caused by implantation.

LouH1981 · 01/01/2020 13:43

With my DD, I had exactly the same. Weird crampy feeling 9dpo which caught my attention because it was new and then a feint positive on 10dpo and bfp on 11dpo.
At around 5 weeks until 9 weeks I had very light brown discharge which as the pregnancy was developing normally, the midwives in EPU put it down to old blood from implantation so I don’t think everyone bleeds straight away.
Fingers crossed for you xxx

@MouseClogs @2020BetterBeBetter thank you!

@Sweetpea12 crossing everything for you.

@LouH1981 thank you so much- really reassuring to hear. I've still got mild cramps today, but they don't feel quite the same as af cramps. Holding off to test until Friday morning when I'll be 12 dpo xxxx

Flossie333 · 03/02/2020 22:43

@AmyMelanie hey 👋🏼, I am! Whether or not it was implantation cramps I'll never know, all I know is that it was unusual for me. Still early days and have experienced spotting for about two weeks which is a bit unnerving but fingers crossed. Hope you get your BFP! Xxxxxxx

@Flossie333 wow congrats!! Found some info on the internet but it’s always better when you hear from someone else experience. May you have a healthy and happy pregnancy!

Hi Ladies hope you don't mind me jumping in on this chat ... I have been TTC for a while now and I have never had this feeling before. I am 7 DPO and i am due AF on the 11 Feb. Last night the day before and all morning i have had really dull pains on my lower left side and left pelvic pains, sometimes the pain is just above my hip and can run along the low part of my abdomen and sometimes i feel a sharp pain going straight to my vagina. The pain sometimes goes and comes back a few hours later. No bleeding either.

I feel really heavy down there too if that makes sense? I have never felt this before and when i google this so many different reasons come up.

I'm not sure if it is implantation pain or i am ovulating late or just nothing

Has anyone felt this before or know anyone who has and may have an idea of what this may be?

Fingers crossed for everyone too :)

Thanks xx

I read this week that expecting to "feel" implantation was as likely as being able to "feel" your hair growing or a cell multiply. It really helped me to stop trying to guess whether my cramps mean anything!

Currently in the TWW too, 3DPO so I feel your pain (and impatience!).

Good luck everyone. x

AmyMelanie · 04/02/2020 15:36

@Lauren2409 I feel the exact same things and I am due AF on 10th.It is very unusual for me to have these cramps 1 week before, plus they feel kinda different also.Had a pregnancy test today and came negative,guess we will just have to wait and see but info on the internet indicates is implantation cramps.Good luck x

Lauren2409 · 04/02/2020 15:37

@EmbarrassingMama i totally understand that. Every month i use to be looking out for the slightest of signs but I've had my hopes built up so many times that I've learnt to switch off from it all ... but this is so unusual for me ... hopefully

x

Lauren2409 · 04/02/2020 15:40

@AmyMelanie yeah i never have pains like this and this early i normally have slight cramping the day/night before ... I dont want to do a test yet making myself wait ... guess we will see soon fingers crossed for us :) x

AmyMelanie · 07/02/2020 13:00

@Lauren2409 I really hope it’s a BFP for you!
Negative for me again and again and today I feel like the AF is around the corner.So frustrating as this was my first month when I felt so many things and I was sure something is going on.These cramps were real and 100% never felt them before and are not period related.Anyone knows if it s possible for the egg to try to implant(giving you the cramps) but failing? Thought you get no cramps if it’s unable to implant...

Lauren2409 · 07/02/2020 14:49

@AmyMelanie Aw Hugs Im not getting my hopes up but this is the first month where i have motived all these different thing like this morning .... Sorry if this is TMI but i have some milky runny CM i dont normally get this and have no idea why i have this ??

Some people sometimes get ovulation pains/cramps. You may have ovulated late?

I'm all new to this i'm litralley learning as i go along xx
