1st time pregnancy - unsure if I am!!

Hi all, I need some help/advice please!!

I have done 3 pregnancy tests in the past 4 days! I was a few days late and so hence my first test - but then started bleeding that evening. I usually have a very heavy period however this time it’s very light. A light bleed has been happening for the past 3 days now.

The 3 pregnancy tests I have taken have all been positive (the first 2 were very very faint positive + with a clear blue) and then today I took another clear blue with the written result and it said ‘pregnant 1-2 weeks’. I am very excited.... but nervous to tell my husband In case I’ve just had a very early miscarriage (hence the bleeding!!) or infact I am pregnant and it’s an implantation bleed!

Has anyone else experienced this?!

Hey just want to say congratulations! When I fell pregnant I also experienced light bleeding for a few days so i would say going by experience that it's probably implantation bleeding. best of luck!

Exciting!! I do hope so, I can’t wait to tell my husband but also don’t want to tell him too soon just in case I’m not!

I felt like that, I ended up taking 9 tests, honestly I thought I was going mad! Best of luck I'm sure its great news!!

If your tests are getting darker/ progressing then this does not suggest a miscarriage, a miscarriage would show lighter lines on your tests. Any pregnancy early symptoms? Sore boobs, tiredness? Xx

Yes I have sore boobs, interesting about the darker lines! They did go darker and more noticeable! I think I will wait a few days and take another.....it’s so hard to wait though! Thanks for your help! I’m so impatient, I just want to be sure, but I know it’s very early on!

That's how some women miss that they're pregnant.

I had some light spotting during the 1st trimester, but later.
Feeling sore boobs is a good sign the hormones are there.

Congratulations. And how can you not tell him?

I know I want to tell him but don’t want to if I’m not 100% as he will be super excited and gutted if it turns out to be wrong! It’s so hard!! I have said there could be a chance I am but I’m not 100% but just haven’t said ‘yes, I’m pregnant’!. Another test today maybe and I will!

Sore boobs is a positive sign though good luck xx
