TTC but why am I bleeding in between periods?

Apologies if this is tmi but I don't know who else to ask!

I have been off my pill since the end of July, we have been trying since then,

Every month my periods are pretty regular and are normallu around 2 days long.
However this month I had my period as normal around 2 weeks ago but today I am bleeding again ( lighter then normal) but I have cramp like pain on my left side?
What could this be?

Its been hard over the past couple of months I know we haven't been trying for long but everyone around us seems to be having or announcing that they are having babies!

Could be ovulation pain/ bleeding. Some women do get that and it sounds like the right time. Do you know when you ovulate? Ie have you been using OPKs. It can take a few months to regulate after the pill as well.

It could be ovulation bleeding. It isnt very common but possible- perhaps google it and see if it sounds right. At about 2 weeks after your AF that would be around the right time.

yes I had been using them, but I was away for the week before Christmas.

I was due to ovulate around the 23rd December

I have been experiencing this same thing but I didn’t think it was ovulation related as I track mine and I was either having high readings or peaks around 5 days after my period. I’m going to see a doctor about it in the new year as it’s happened to me a few times in a row

Could it be that I came off my pill in August and now my body has finally got rid of it ? Like ti sounds silly but has my body now gone to what it should do rather than what the pill Does? If that makes sense 😂😂

I think it’s worth going to your GP. There are loads of things it could be, mostly totally harmless, but any abnormal bleeding should be checked out.
