Hi everyone,

Hope everyone's had a lovely Xmas. I think I might be ovulating for the first time in a while, exciting! The past few days my OPK's were completely negative no line at all, then yesterday afternoon I got the top one, and then the 2nd one was yesterday night- not too far off positive. Then todays are the bottom 2, I've done a few today and they're all like this or lighter.

So my question is- do you think I've ovulated and just missed the positive as it was in the night or do you think I'm yet to ovulate and should carry on testing? Normally my positives only get as dark as the control line- never darker.

Ps ignore the fact I make a chart out of my OPK's gross I know 🤣 and the fact that I used parcel tape because the sellotape went AWOL🤣

Thanks! ☺️

@susso do you know what CD you are do you track using an app? Mine were like this but I don't ov till CD21 and then it's blazing

Hiya @MrsCl19 I haven't been on my period for a while as I have PCOS, I can go for 2-3 months no period and then I can ovulate and pinpoint it with OPK's for a few months no problem! So frustrating!

I'm currently CD77 or something stupid like that so purely guessing! The only reason I starting testing was because I felt like I was going to ovulate or come on so I thought I'd just check!

I've heard that opks aren't reliable with pcos. I might be wrong though.

susso · 27/12/2019 22:26

@Whyhaveidonethis yeah it can be the case I think but not for all, my doctor said mine should be reliable due to how it affects my hormones. But yeah I am still wary of them, however when they have been accurate in the past x

@susso have you heard of agnus castus? I would have w read may be worth a shot I used it when I came off the pill with dd and hadn't had an af for 5 months

susso · 28/12/2019 08:54

@MrsCl19 I've heard of it but had no idea about where to get it etc! It sounds like it would be helpful though because my af has literally gone awol! X

Do you track bbt? I know you're supposed to wait until it's as dark as the control line but mine never are - they only get as dark as your darkest one in the picture, but I definitely ovulate because I also have a massive spike in bbt. So if those tests were mine I'd be pretty confident that I ovulated, but can't say for you and your body!

susso · 28/12/2019 09:08

@bluemoon2468 yeah I do track bbt but I've been a bit rubbish with it lately- just over Christmas I've missed a few mornings so it's probably not the most reliable source this month for me 😫 I have had a spike but still not sure of it.

I'm gonna keep testing for a few Days but I'm going to take it as I did ovulate and just test in January, will keep dtd too to cover myself! X

Obviously I'm not a herb specialist but I just did research online I was at that point of well anything's worth a try
