TTC #2, when everyone else seems to get pregnant with their second instantly

Hi,

I started trying for #2 two months ago. Had some very well timed DTD after using OPKs but I’m not pregnant. Everything I read is people saying that #2 happens really quickly. I’m frantically googling c section damage and wondering if I have that. Have worked myself up so much that I’m on/off crying constantly. Having a tough time at work so this isn’t helping.

Anyone else not instantly pregnant with #2?

TTC is definitely pain in the *ss! It seems to be so easy for some people - eg my SIL fell pregnant for #2 9 months postpartum and without even trying. She had emergency csection - so it doesn't seem to be a problem for her. Although well she fell pregnant right after stopping the pill with her #1 so I think she is just extremely lucky. Anyway! I do hope you are as lucky as my SIL!

DH and I have been TTC #2 for 9 months now. And the last 2 cycle I had positive OPK and like you I also timed DTD right I guess but nope not pregnant yet. I do also think that maybe I have secondary infertilty? Who knows. I'm thinking to go see my GP in the Spring.

Was it easy for you to conceive DC1? X

@Mrssendy thanks for replying! DD1 took 4 months, and only 1 time actually using OPKs. It’s just absolutely everyone else seems to get pregnant instantly with the second. I had an ELCS and am convinced I‘ve done this to myself by not having a natural birth
