Implant removal and menstrual cycle

Hi everybody, so I had my implant removed on 27th September this year after having it put in, in April, decided after miscarriage I want to try again. Once removed I had a withdrawal bleed around 1 week later for a few days then had a 22 day cycle which lasted 5 days. Today I am on cycle day 28. Unsure when I ovulated this month as we were on holiday and I didn't track, I have been experiencing mild abdominal cramping for around 5-6 days. Lower back pain around same amount of time, having mood swings, I took a FR test yesterday which was negative. Am I too early in testing ? Is there still a chance I could be pregnant, I also took a ovulation test yesterday morning that was quite dark, not so dark I would say it's a positive test but dark enough to know its detecting some form of hormone, tested ovulation test again and it's a bit lighter (no pregnancy tests left lol) I stupidly used all my chespie Ebay tests far too early lol. I guess my question is only having implant in for months then having a 22 day cycle to now a 28 day cycle is that normal for implanon removal. I'm so confused with what is happening to my body :( I just wish I knew:( either AF show up please or I get my bfp, a little Christmas miracle would be amazing

I am now on cycle day 30. Cramp is gone and lower back pain has vanished. Using cheap pg test strips from home bargains, all negative. Still no period. What could be causing this ?

I had my implant removed in September, it ran out in August but my cycles were very irregular from June time and only really settled down in October. We only started TTC last month but it will take a while for things to settle down xx

Hi

Thought it may help to share my experience with you. I had my implant removed towards the end of August. The following week I had a very light period of 2/3 days (usually five) - I didn't think this was actually a period as it was so light but 28 days later I got my period on the 24th September which was as usual (I got periods sporadically whilst on the implant). I then came on again on the 24th October which was a bit later than usual but happy to say that was my last period and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. Good luck on your TTC journey.

One tip although I know nearly impossible is try not to be too stressed about the whole thing. In September and October I ran mine and my OH sex lives like a military operation and spent a fortune on pregnancy tests. Come November I didn't think I could be pregnant as we hadn't had sex much and I wasn't properly tracking everything and that's when it happened.

Hey OP! Here is my story -

Had implant out in September after 11 months. I had no periods for first 7 months and then it was very sporadic, some 2 weeks apart for a while. I had a withdrawal bleed 4 days after removal and since then had 4 22-24 day cycles which is very short for me! I ovulate around CD15-16.

I used to have perfect 28/29 day cycles before I had the implant and fell pregnant in 2nd cycle when I came off the pill. I am now on my 5th cycle of TTC but as my cycles are so short (in particular my luteal phase) there's slim chance I'll be falling pregnant any time soon. I had a chemical in October and haven't done any early tests since just in case it happened again.

I have never read ANY implant stories being the same. I know people who have fallen pregnant straight away.
