Testing Christmas Day / Boxing Day

Hi
TTC baby number one . I had EWCM yesterday , so thinking I’ll probably ovulate today or tomorrow ?
Going by Ovia I should be testing Christmas Day, but I think I’ll wait til Boxing Day just in case it’s a BFN I don’t want to feel down on a festive happy day !

Anyone joining me ? Or around that time , maybe Xmas Eve ?

I’d say you could use a First Response Early one, they detect pregnancy about 5 days before your period is due if you get the sensitive ones xx

1dpo today! Finally in the TWW! 13 day LP so trying to work out when I can start testing!

Started 6DPO last cycle. I think I can hold off until 9dpo (out with work), or do I really really try to hold out until Christmas Day? But then theres copious amounts of alcohol on Christmas Eve.

I half expect to come on with a bang on Christmas Day.

due to test 23rd or xmas eve already have a 2 year old and spending xmas with the inlaws this year. 1st cycle ttc... got pregnant 1st time with ds so really joping is the same this time but also know would be very very lucky if that actually happended

hi op, sorry havn't had the chance to reply. tbh i really have no idea. i got incredibly lucky 1st time... took a guess i would be ovulating as i was mid cycle, had sex twice a day for 2 days & two weeks later had a bfp lol taking a chance this time two as i have no idea when im ovulating but hoping it wasn't before the 8th could very well be messed up this month as last period was 3 weeks late ( happens every once in a while.. stress i guess lol) so not really sure when i will ovulate this month

Your CM changes once you have ovulated yes @ItsEmily so if it's now creamy you have probably ovulated. It does vary per person though and you can have random CM anytime.
Only way to really know is to use OPKs and/ or temping (your temp spikes when you ovulate then stays higher).

I'm 4+1 if my app is right, I thought I wasn't due until Christmas hence joining this thread but I had a bit of spotting the week before which I had discounted and shouldn't have by the looks of things as I've been testing positive since the weekend 🥰 good luck to you all! Xx

I’m pretty sure I see a line and really want to crack out a FRER but I’m pretty sure it will be negative!

I’m only about 7 DPO too and I am sure I’ve had a few symptoms but trying not to think about it . I’m gonna try and hold off until Boxing Day 😭💕

@LosingtheTTCplot I'm not gonna lie I have been using IC since 5DPO haha not even a sniff of a line but it kinda just makes me feel better 😂 I wanna break out the FRER now too 🙈 yours does look like a hint of a line! Fingers crossed!!!

I have an IC ready for the morning and then I think if there’s anything on that I’ll whip out a FRER on Saturday.

I’ll Have to sneak to the shops for a digi for use on Christmas morning for hubby. This is all if there’s actually a line on the other tests! 😂

@itsemily mainly the cramping tbh, constant cramping for days, nothing severe but definitely strong enough not to ignore. Now I've got back ache, horrible taste in my mouth, nose bleed and feel knackered! 🤣 xx good luck xx

Not even a sniff of a line 😂 I'm not even disappointed cos I know how silly it is to test this early lol. Trying to will a line into place with hard stares at the FRER and at times have thought I seen something but there is absolutely nothing there 🤦🏻‍♀️ really gonna try very hard to not test again till Christmas day. 🤞🏼 For everyone 😊
