Coming off Co-Cypriondiol and curious about cycles/experiences

Hi everyone

I've been reading the boards and amazed by all the strength and comradarie on here in support of starting or growing your families.

I'm coming off Co-Cypriondiol (otherwise known as Dianette) with a view to letting my body get back to normal, use barrier contraception and possibly TTC mid 2020+.

I have just turned 29 and have been on the pill fairly consistently from 19yo. First cerazette mini pill, then Co-Cypriondiol, then rigevideon (sp) then back on Co-Cypriondiol (acne issues).

I guess I didn't realise before how many issues can arise from cycles and bodies I'm curious ...does anyone have any good news stories of coming off this pill....any pill...or things you'd wish you'd known?

I can totally now understand the shock of coming off the pill and feeling lost that TTC isn't working....there are so many pitfalls!

Thanks x

Having read that’s you can be more fertile immediately after stopping contraception, k wish I’d TTC straight away and hadn’t use barrier methods ‘to let my cycle regulate’. Now 8 months in and finding it v frustrating. Might have made no difference but at least I wouldn’t feel like I had wasted potential fertile time.
