Welcome @TigerJoy lots of baby dust to you! We are all hoping for a bit of crimbo magic this month! I'm dtd every 3 days and also opks but not had a positive yet I'm on CD 20 today so hopefully in next few days I will. How long have you been trying for?

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 07:08

@Jonesbabynumber1 what is your temp saying? Mine has increased again slightly...xx

BabyB19 · 17/12/2019 08:01

Morning ladies and welcome @TigerJoy I wish you lots of luck with ttc, you're in good hands here! Is this your first and how long have you been ttc etc? X

Thanks @TigerJoy.
Yes I’ve had a laparoscopy about 5 years ago which diagnosed endo, tubes were all clear though. I’ve asked for another amh test to see what my ovarian reserve is...😩
I’ve been trying to drink less alcohol and eat an anti inflammatory diet to help with the endo.
My fam is the same too!! Who gets pregnant by accident!!!! Most of my fam lol 🤣🤣

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 08:18

@ceebee21 I’m glad yours is slowly increasing. nothing yet good I’m hoping it rises in next day or so as last month it spiked cycle day 21. What cycle day are you now? Did you say how long you cycle are?

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 08:31

@Jonesbabynumber1 do you have a picture of your last cycle so I can have a look?

I am CD20 now and last month had a 25 day cycle, however OV's earlier than this cycle - so looks like they are all over the place now. What CD are you on?
x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 09:24

@ceebee21 I think ovulation can change every cycle I’m cd19 today. Yes here’s my chart from last month. Let me know what you think. I think I ovulated cd 18/19 which would give me 11/12 day luteral phase

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 09:36

I will say I’m not best at taking it at same time but go with the rule of 3 hours sleep so that probably doesn’t help

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 09:39

This is mine at the moment, I'm wondering if maybe I have low progesterone levels?! My god it's so stressful.

Yes defo day 21 for you last month, do you take yours whilst laying down in bed, as in first thing you do at all?! Xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 09:51

@ceebee21 I think temp works better after a few cycles so you know your cycle better not in the moment. Mines similar to yours this month. You may see the change in the next few days. You may have ovulated already just some people get temp rise 1/2 days after ovulation.

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 09:57

@Jonesbabynumber1 ah yes ours are pretty similar at the moment.

Which app are you using, I quite like it xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 10:09

@ceebee21 fingers crossed we see a change in next few day’s. How may cycles have you been TTC and what contraception was you on? Just wondering whether that has an impact. I been TTC for 4 cycles and was on copper coil. It’s called Femometer one of the other girls use it I like it.

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 10:16

@ Jonesbabynumber1 Thanks I will download that.

Well, I had the implant and got that removed in July, then fell PG straight away without a period in between, but that ended in a MMC.

So really, first proper cycle was the last one, then this one... doesn't give me much to go from as everything is messed up xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 10:31

@ceebee21 sorry to hear about MC but you must be ovulating you just need to work out when in the cycle I think the trouble is it changes each cycle. My cycles vary from 28-32 days showing that my ovulation day changes. Keep going with temping the more you’ll do it the more it becomes clear but it’s not a quick answer which I hope it was going to be.

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 10:35

@Jonesbabynumber1 - yeah, I'm just wondering if I have low progesterone levels, guess after a few months I will know.

Yes, last month my cycle was 25 days, and I had a positive OPK day 14... this time didn't get one until day 17, so delayed a bit.

I find it hard that we can't control anything xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 10:41

@ceebee21 I don’t get on with opk as I get a result most of the month. Yes I struggle with the not being able to control anything or feeling unsure, doesn’t help that I’m a planner and like to be organised. I think it’s easy to self diagnose the last 4 cycles I’ve been sure I’ve got PCOS, endometriosis and low progesterone which is crazy. So I try not to google symptoms and just think keep bding and hopefully it will happen

ceebee21 · 17/12/2019 10:47

@Jonesbabynumber1 well on Saturday morning I had the strongest OPK I have ever had!

I have an under active thyroid and know that can cause low progesterone, so I am just worrying about that, even though I am on medication.

Yes, met too I like to plan everything, and like to know I can make it happen if I really want it haha

TigerJoy · 17/12/2019 11:23

I've been ttc for 13 months, with increasing levels of seriousness over that time! Started doing temp and opk in June. Temp doesn't seem to tell me much - opks have been quite clear though. Been tracking my cycle for about 3 years and often have mid-cycle bleeding and always have mid-cycle pain, so i'm pretty confident about when I ovulate.

No children at all. Siblings, parents, grandparents, cousins...everyone else can seem to get pregnant from sitting on a warm chair. Accidents everywhere! All me and my siblings were unplanned, all my siblings kids were unplanned.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 13:26

@ceebee21 if you look at chart that makes sense having strong opk on Saturday and your temp just taking a few day’s to increase. Googling lots of people don’t have sudden peak so maybe totally normal and more temping you do clearer it will be. Being a planner and not being in control is horrible feeling. @TigerJoy have you been to GP as it’s been 13 months? Yes your not alone in that feeling, and lots of people feel that way on here x

TigerJoy · 17/12/2019 13:53

Been to GP, been to fertility specialist, been to private IVF clinic. talking about a round of IVF but chances are no better than doing it the old-fashioned way for us...

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 14:18

@tigerjoy all you can do is keep at it, I know of people who have conceived aged 40+ just took them a little longer

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 14:22

@BabyB19 how did it go with the nurse?

Gee1235 · 17/12/2019 14:32

@BabyB19 I've been off mumsnet for so long but I've just been having a nose and seen you've got a Positive!!! Congratulations 😘!!! X

TigerJoy · 17/12/2019 14:47

THANK YOU @Jonesbabynumber1

How long? I know that's an impossible question...

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/12/2019 14:49

@tigerjoy I can’t remember but I work in an office where most of the mums are older, one was 45, so keep hopeful
