@BabyB19 yep trouble is I may not w at to give him back. I’ve just had a little cry to myself after 3 pregnancy announcements today! But just did a bit of reading and reading the worlds it’s normal for a fertile couple to take upto 12 months to conceive does help. I wish I was more patient! I though this two week wait was going to be much better because of Christmas and feeling more chilled but I have a feeling may be hardest yet.

BabyB19 · 12/12/2019 17:55

I think we need to try and remember that @Jonesbabynumber1 I was reading the statistics the other day about how long it takes people and we are so still in the safe zone! It's been 8 months for me and I had a 3 month pregnancy in that time so it's just trying to be more patient isn't it! It's hard when so many around us have their moment but it will be us at some point x

Evening all, how's everyone's evening going? I've been really bloated this afternoon still am now, I might try bd tonight just incase but I'm sooo tired. My anaemia has just come back as I keep forgetting to take my iron tablets 🤦‍♀️and it's really zapping my energy but I'll try to get on to dtd😂 Anyway, 3dpo for me and I'm planning to test on the 22nd the day before af is due.
@Jonesbabynumber1 I hope it goes ok meeting the baby.
@Cheetos I once didn't have a period for about 6 weeks and my doctor sent me for a blood test to check incase I was pregnant as hpt were negative so it's definitely worth asking for a blood test just to check.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 12/12/2019 18:11

@BabyB19 yes I have to try and stay positive it’s cycle 4 for me. I think I need a hobbie to keep me distracted. What do you do in the evenings after work?

Jonesbabynumber1 · 12/12/2019 18:14

@dizzy85 yes I think we’ll all be in roughly the same window of poas I know once you lot start that will make me want to do it. I’m waiting for DH to get home after going for a haircut he better hurry up before I change my mind 🙃.

Tbug · 12/12/2019 18:16

I think I should go docs cos this is month 10 :( just feel like I should be by now :(

Cheetos · 12/12/2019 18:51

I've booked my appointment - soonest one was 8th Jan. Hopefully won't need it

BabyB19 · 12/12/2019 19:04

I go to the gym 3 nights a week @Jonesbabynumber1 so my weeks fly by, but I haven't been as good recently, the weather puts me off, I cook most things from scratch though so I have been coming in and making nice food for us and things. I'm getting fatter by the day but I'm feeling content atm! What hobby are you thinking if?

The Drs say a year don't they @Tbug before there would be any cause for concern I don't know how mine said 8 months I meant 10 as I came off the pill in Feb x

Ange211 · 12/12/2019 19:33

@BabyB19 cd 33 but following an MC so it's a bit of a lottery as to when AF will come back....took 6 weeks last time!

Cheetos · 12/12/2019 20:42

Fingers crossed for you @Ange211

dizzy85 · 12/12/2019 21:32

@Jonesbabynumber1 aw that's good we are all around the same time again. Yer it's like a domino effect once one starts testing 😂 hope it went ok seeing the baby in the end x

dizzy85 · 12/12/2019 21:38

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 wow you go to the gym 3 times a week that's good! I used to go but not been for a while am joining a Zumba class with my friends soon and aqua aerobics I'm looking forward to getting fit again, I feel like I'm getting fatter by the day too but I'm not gonna be too harsh in myself it's been a tough year. I love cooking aswell. Also I love anything creative, do you guys like doing creative stuff? I need to rekindle some hobbies to make the time go faster too.

BabyB19 · 12/12/2019 21:56

@dizzy85 I'm normally quite into the gym but it's been a struggle this year. My best friend committed suicide in February and it was him always trying to convince me to have kids and I kept saying when I can afford it, when I don't have a holiday booked, when I have a promotion etc, so after he died I came off the pill, got caught next cycle and it kept me going for a bit but then I had MMC at 12 weeks, was a double blow to me, since then I've put at least 2 stone on but you know what I've survived the year and it's more than I thought I'd manage at one point. So fat or not I'm doing ok but I definitely need to get back to the gym after Christmas!

@BabyB19 so sorry to hear of your loss of your best friend in such a tragic way. He would be proud at how much strength you’ve shown to get through Such a difficult time xx

dizzy85 · 12/12/2019 22:19

@BabyB19 oh I'm so sorry to hear that about your best friend that must have been absolutely heartbreaking to go through, I really feel for you it's so sad. And then followed by the mmc that must have hit you so hard. But if anything positive to come out of it is that you haven't given up and it proves how strong you are to keep going and trying. I've been through my fair share of shit too these past few years and there's def far more to life than gaining a few extra pounds so it's good not to waste time worrying about the small things. I'm sure your friend will be looking over you and be proud that your keeping on despite everything. ❤️Xxx

BabyB19 · 12/12/2019 23:08

Thanks girls @dizzy85 @Jonesbabynumber1 we've all had terrible times I'm sure but you have to just keep on going g as life goes on in some form doesn't it. Whatever it is you've faced @dizzy85 just keep going ❤️ how did the visit go @Jonesbabynumber1 I hope you're doing ok xx

Sorry I don't know why that went shouty!

OP posts:
dizzy85 · 12/12/2019 23:22

@BabyB19 thanks too. Your right that's the only way through is to just keep on going and no matter how dark the tunnel seems there will always be light at the end of it..as cheesy as that sounds 🙂but it's true. And also me and my oh have learned to kind of laugh our way through bad times as much as appropriate and all but I mean we keep each other going by laughing and keeping our spirits up.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 13/12/2019 06:13

@BabyB19 @dizzy85 it was lovely he was beautiful but I tried not to think about me and TTC and just enjoyed a cuddle then handed him over to my husband who was besotted. We bd last night and this morning, so much for every other day 😂 managed to do it 5 times in what I think is fertile window. Will still try and bd every other from now but let the dreaded tww begins 😭 at least it’s Friday.

ceebee21 · 13/12/2019 07:08

@BabyB19 sorry to hear of your loss.

Still no temp rise or positive OPK, so fed up Sad

MrsCl19 · 13/12/2019 07:18

Morning!! I'm so disappointed my opk started getting darker yesterday and today there really light again 😩 dtd anyway but would like a bit of evidence of a surge 😩

BabyB19 · 13/12/2019 07:46

@ceebee21 @MrsCl19 sorry guys, you could have missed it maybe? They say it can rise and fall within 4 hours so unless you're checking every few hours it's possible to miss it!
@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm glad it went well and it seems to have given you both a bit of a kickstart haha! Last night and this morning, you'll be ready for the weekend for a rest hahah! X
