@Jonesbabynumber1 I have same cm as you and I'm cd13.... I have no clue on ovulation I ovulated a week later last month than when I thought I was from symptoms 🤣 I think it's gunna be next week for me

Newbie1981 · 10/12/2019 09:36

I think I need help learning about the ov sticks. When it's a dark line I know it's positive but doesn't it then take a couple of days to actually ovulate after that? So when are you supposed to DTD after getting the dark line, am so confused

Tbug · 10/12/2019 09:37

I think I ovulated yesterday and DTD woohooo!! Praying for us all 😁 might not buy any tests and buy if I don't come on 🤣🙊

Jonesbabynumber1 · 10/12/2019 10:10

@dizzy85 @BabyB19 that’s good that we all experience the same I get quite a lot of twinges, And every cycle I understand a little more about what my body is doing. I think I’ll be ovulating in next few days as I’m cycle day 12 now x

dizzy85 · 10/12/2019 10:32

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 funny about the chocolate thing as I usually only crave it around af and this morning I got myself 2 chocolate chocolate bars.
Yer it's good to pay attention to what's going on although I've noticed my body seems to change it up quite abit which doesn't help

BabyB19 · 10/12/2019 10:34

I think our bodies like to keep us on our toes! I'm glad I'm not the only one craving chocolate as i thought I was going mad, thinking AF is on her way. I dreamt again last night so vividly about getting a bfp and my boobs getting massive, I'm hoping it's a sign of conception as it was so real!

@Jonesbabynumber1 @BabyB19 oops pushed send too soon, I was gonna say that I used to be quite regular in cycle symptoms so was easy to notice but now it's quite random like my boobs only used to hurt during af and now they start hurting before ovulation 🤷‍♀️ I dunno if since the mmc it shifted things about but it's hard to tell now.

dizzy85 · 10/12/2019 10:42

@BabyB19 let's hope it's a sign. I had a really crazy dream last night that I was eating cupcakes and big bowl fulls of glazed cherries 😆 I couldn't get enough of these cherries haha I might actually have to buy some today I've not eaten one in years.

BabyB19 · 10/12/2019 11:12

Omg now I want glazed cherries hahah @dizzy85 remind me of baking with my nan when I was a kid x

No dreams for me yet but in past I’ve had a few especially giving birth and waking up is horrible. Has any one reduced caffeine intake I work I. A office and drink a lot of tea and wondering what everyone’s opinion is on caffeine.

dizzy85 · 10/12/2019 11:39

@BabyB19 😂 yes! I'm definitely getting some today!
@Jonesbabynumber1 I only drink decaf as caffeine makes me really hyper 😆 but I have heard of people cutting down when ttc and i know friends who've cut it out once pregnant.

ceebee21 · 10/12/2019 11:41

Ah, going off previous cycle I think I am due to OV tomorrow, but will see I guess.

Hopefully we have some BFP - we are due some xx

BabyB19 · 10/12/2019 11:46

We definitely are @ceebee21
I only tend to have 1-2 coffees a day in work and maybe a cup of tea at night, so not massive amounts anyway, that still works out under the guidelines but if I find I am pregnant I will switch to decaf anyway. I'm not stopping or cutting anything atm as this could unfortunately take a while and we need to continue on with as much normality as we can or we will end up in the loony bin! That's my opinion anyway I'm sure other people think different x

ceebee21 · 10/12/2019 11:48

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 I agree - I only have 2/3 tea's a day during the week, and don't drink coffee, so nothing excessive.

Like you say, I don't see the point in cutting everything out when it may not even happen for months.

xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 10/12/2019 11:53

@BabyB19 @ceebee21 @dizzy85 yes luckily I don’t drink coffee but I do drink about 3/4 cups of tea a day and it does helps with my water intake. I used to like a can of red bull once in a while but have stopped drinking that. Yes I’ll just keep things normal for now thanks all. I just panic sometimes thinking maybe I shouldn’t be doing things but this chat always helps me feel relaxed.

dizzy85 · 10/12/2019 12:03

@Jonesbabynumber1 @BabyB19 @ceebee21 I agree definitely trying to keep things as normal as possible too. I'm still having the odd drink which is probably worse than caffeine anyway but I'll go crazy if I stop everything before. One thing thou I'm not stocking up on the usual Christmas drinks yet until I know on the 23rd what's what, if af then I'll be straight to the shops 😂

Newbie1981 · 10/12/2019 12:35

Anyone fancy answering my question or no newbies allowed??

ceebee21 · 10/12/2019 12:54

@Newbie1981 sorry just seen your message.

When you get a positive OPK you actually OV between 24 to 48 hours after that positive OPK.... I normally go with if you get a positive say today, then you will OV tomorrow, and count Thursday as 1DPO.

Hope that helps xx

Newbie1981 · 10/12/2019 12:56

Ah that's great @ceebee21 thank you. You guys are actual professionals in here haha! I caught first month with my 1st (after a mmc) so didn't really have to look into anything. It's harder than I thought.
Thanks again that helps a lot

BabyB19 · 10/12/2019 13:04

Yes @Newbie1981 everyone is welcome, I answered the same question for someone else already and thought it was you. There's pretty much someone on here to answer anything atm so ask away

Thank you. I'm on 2 apps which give me totally different dates so I think I need to get to grips with the ov sticks

BabyB19 · 10/12/2019 15:29

A few people have said the same think about different apps giving different dates. Maybe see how you get on with the sticks, some people don't get on well with them and prefer temping but they have been ok for me so far 🤷🏽‍♀️
