Anyone hoping to conceive this month/cycle?

Hey all!

Wondering if theres anyone out there beginning the journey this coming month? Would be nice to share this exciting time with someone else!

I am a 26 year old scrub nurse, decided to try for a baby this September so came off the pill. One withdrawal bleed, many ovulation tests and pregnancy tests and 65 days later I have just finished my first actual period 😂. So here's hoping this month is the month!

I'm tracking with ovia fertility app, trying to do BBT but not always managing to take my temp in the mornings, and plan to use more ovulation tests!

Anyone out there in a similar obsessive boat as me? 🙃

👋🏾 there. Im the same boat. I came of the pill in early September and had my withdrawal bleed on the 4th october and my first bleed on the 30th October. I was expecting AF yesterday however it didn't arrive and due to overthinking which is hard not to when you are ttc i took a test this afternoon and got a BFN. I expect AF will arrive which means my period cycle is not as regular as i though it would be. I have been ovulation tracking however i have found it hard to track when i don't even know my cycle length yet. Hope it doesn't take too long to tc. Baby dust to you x

I am im the same boat. I am 25, also a nurse! I stopped the mini pill end of October, got my first AF yesterday! So this will be my first month of trying 😆 fingers crossed we all get BFP soon 🤞🏼

Im still waiting for af to arrive. Its all very frustrating. I feel like it either needs to come or i need a BFP. The waiting game is the worst feeling ever.

Also ttc for first time i am 30 :)
Got off the pill early november and withdrawal bleed two days after.
I tracked ovulation and got positive opk 19 and 20th so now 9 dpo and will do an early pregnancy test tomorrow....
Not expecting much but i have little hope!!

Hi! I got implant out 3 weeks ago and still waiting on AF. Been using ovulation sticks and got a flashing smiley on Clearblue last two days. Really hoping I get static smiley/ovulate soon 🤞🤞.

Totally obsessed already and not meant to even be trying until January.

@Waiting1987 do you mind me asking how often you are the testing for ovulation? Is it everyday? Only because I have been struggling with tracking mine when I'm not too sure what my cycle length is. I have just been DTD every so often.

@Bluebell1989 I started testing about 2 weeks ago (so just over a week after implant out). I've been testing everyday with the cheap strips but only started going Clearblue about a week ago. I'm breastfeeding and cycles didn't go back to normal so think my hormones are all over the place.

I had my coil out September, had a withdrawal bleed, and then a 35 day cycle. Just finished AF yesterday. My DH is a nurse, so we are working round his shifts! I'm 25, he is 24. TTC first baby .

I am using sperm friendly lube I had left over from last baby, but now I'm wondering if it's out of date and I shouldn't.

I am really hoping I get static tomorrow! I haven't even ovulated yet and was looking at places to get early scans today. Need to stop Googling and peeing on sticks...

@Waiting1987 its so difficult not to overthink and poas! I was the same however my af has arrive today which means since stopping the pill my cycle has been 26,29 and now 31 so good news is my cycles are not irregular bad news is i wasnt pregnant. But looking forward to being able to track my ovulation now af has arrived. Also i was reading around sperm friendly lube and the best one seems to baby dance as its fda approved.

Came off the pill and bled in Sep, then 63 days later finally got AF. In the past month I convinced myself that I was pregnant, then convinced myself I was going through a v early menopause!

Really hoping my cycle settles down now. I used to be regular as clockwork, so all going to plan should be ovulating in the middle of the month and testing around the new year.

I’m 32, DH is 36, hoping that 2020 is a biiig year - buying our first house, learning to drive, and now TTC. Feels like all the adult stuff is happening at once.

So i just bought pre seed one from baby start, it had good reviews and comes with applicators. Not sure i will use it but the first cycle trying has been “dry” so at least I have it for next one...

@Waiting1987 that’s good! Now all you need to do is wait the longest two weeks but at least you did everything at the right time!

I am on 11 dpo today - absolutely nothing has changed in my body but i will not test anymore as i did it at 9 dpo and had the worst day being so sad after the bfn... so decided to just wait and see instead.

I have been living on the pregnancy forum since my bfp two weeks ago...
Super anxious about this pregnancy!!
But also feeling lucky to have successfully conceived right after stopping the pill hope everyone else is doing ok :)

@Michette congratulations that's amazing news. Awhh totally normally to be feeling anxious i guess. Especially as you said it happened so soon after stopping the pill. Did you have any symptoms prior to the BFP? X

Feeling a little dizzy, bigger boobs, periods type cramps all day and sort of heaviness and discomfort in stomach and legs. It was like an overall lingering pain all over.

But that lasted a week at most so between 13 dpo and 20 dpo.

Since then haven’t had any symptoms at all. I am full of energy no cramps no sore boobs they actually got bit smaller...

So that’s why i am worried about everything. No sign of pregnancy at all!

Went for a scan at 5 weeks last week and it looked normal there was a sac and they asked me to come back this thursday to measure the progress...
