Just wondering what to expect when I go for my appointment in December to the fertility clinic.

I saw them last year for testing but didn't go ahead with treatment. The first appointment you'll get an internal scan so wear something easy to remove on your bottom half.

You'll see a nurse for taking details/history, have a blood test to check hormones and rubella immunity, and some STD tests that involve swabbing yourself inside.

Everyone was very nice and friendly and I'd highly recommend them.

The only reason I didn't go ahead with treatment is that I don't qualify for NHS funding and they confirmed I'm fertile and OH is the issue (no swimmers). We decided to use a donor at home to save money instead.

@aLilNonnyMouse thanks for replying to me, just need to put my mind at rest with going and express my concerns regarding my fertility. I have a little boy already and before him had a MMC then have had two since. We've been trying since the most recent miscarriage and no joy yet, don't really want to leave it any longer without having some tests done. Wishing you lots of luck. Xx
