Just wondered if there is anyone else who is around 5th or 6th DPO (like myself!)
Interested to hear any symptoms and when you plan to test.
Fingers crossed x

I'm 5DPO, I have had sore boobs, been quite tired and really bloated since the weekend. Today started feeling nauseous as well and also have really itchy nipples - not sure if that's a thing! I hate the wait 😭

LEBW · 25/11/2019 22:15

@lf89 how many months have you been TTC if you don't mind me asking!
I know I hate the wait Sad

Can I join? I’m 3 dpo I think. Although I had a few days of slippery cm last week it was earlier than usual and I didn’t get the usual ewcm so I might have missed my chance. I had ovulation pain on Friday night so dtd on Saturday morning and I’m hoping it wasn’t too late. No symptoms so far but it’s far too early really. It’s not going to stop me symptom spotting though Grin

LEBW · 25/11/2019 22:33

@12goldstars yes of course!!!! It's all you can think about isn't it. Are you using any ovulation tests or just working it out by counting the days xx

OP posts:
HalfPenny28 · 25/11/2019 22:33

I'm about 6/7 dpo and I'm just desperate to know now!

I haven't noticed many symptoms this month, I had a cold right after ovulation but it is November and I've had mild cramping but nothing to write home about.

Had a bit of a temperature this past week but Other than completely normal!

I'll be testing (ic's) every day now as I'm calmer that way but what works for me doesn't work for everyone!

When will you test?

LEBW · 25/11/2019 22:39

I think Saturday morning as I will be 11dpo and 6 days before period is due. Will buy a stupidly expensive early test just as it seems to be my fave way to spend money lately Grin

Hey ladies!! I'm 6dpo today. I had lots of symptoms last week but not so much now which is a bit disheartening 😔 I did do a test last week! Faaarrrr to early I know but I caved. Of course it was a bfn but still trying to stay positive! Not going to test now going to wait for af on the 5th xx

12goldstars · 25/11/2019 22:56

LEBW I’m going by mucus observations and ovulation pain although mucus has let me down this month. I’ve been keeping an eye on it for a few months. I get increasing cm, then ewcm, then pain and then I dry up. This month i didn’t get the ewcm and the pain was a couple of days earlier than expected.
You might see something 11dpo with a frer. I got a strong positive with dd2 9dpo. Have you had any signs of implantation like cramps?

LEBW · 25/11/2019 23:15

@12goldstars yes had weird twinges today that I haven't had before. I'm also very very tired, to the point I slept most of today which isn't like me (unless I'm about to be ill!)
I know I'll probably end up buying cheap test this week and doing it and getting a BFN but it's so hard not to!

OP posts:
LEBW · 25/11/2019 23:17

@kliz92 yes you still have lots of chance for your BFP. Fingers crossed for you X

@LEBW only two and I had a CP last month, I don't know if my hormones are all over the place which is driving me mad even more. How about you?

crazychemist · 26/11/2019 07:15

Hi ladies, may I join you? Brew

I’m 8dpo. Been ttc#2 for a while, I try not to keep track but 18 months +.

Things have not been going well during ttc due to crappy short luteal phase. I track my cycles (started doing that after about 8 months I think), usually have LH surge but fail to ovulate at around day 14, then actually ovulate at day 24, but then only 6 day luteal phase Sad

Cannot stop getting my hopes up this month! I actually ovulated on day 14 Smile. So at 8dpo this is the longest luteal phase I’ve had since I had DD (she’s now 3). Had a little bit of pink/brown spotting on Sunday/Monday, but none overnight or this morning, so I’m desperately desperately hoping that was implantation bleeding!

Wasn’t going to say anything about my hopes to DH yet, but alas I had to pull the car over on the M25 to wee in a bush..... so he instantly asked if I might be pregnant because I was like that the whole time when expecting DD.

Am I righ in thinking we’re all trying to make it to the weekend before testing? Grin

For slightly early testing, would internet cheapies be the way to go do you reckon? I don’t want to spend a fortune but suspect I won’t be able to hold out beyond Saturday, which will be 12dpo.

LEBW · 26/11/2019 11:40

@lf89 this is my third month, but the first two weren't really trying as I hadn't even looked at when I was ovulating. We had our honeymoon last month and I kind of wanted to just be able to get drunk and not worry but this month is the first proper effort so it would be very very lucky if I managed it!!!

OP posts:
LEBW · 26/11/2019 11:43

@crazychemist of course, hi! Yes I think it seems like we will all be doing around the weekend. I really hope even if I'm not someone is so at least that won't be completely rubbish!
I don't know about internet cheapies.... I'm a bit of a buy cheap buy twice kind of person (even though it's going to cost me a fortune if I get the expensive tests for months!) I have a link for 2 of the 6 days before your period tests from eBay and they were £7 which I think is better than I've seen in any shops x

OP posts:
HalfPenny28 · 26/11/2019 16:58

@LEBW I know what you mean, I have heard mixed reviews about the ic's not showing the result but I spent a small fortune on frer last month so waiting until at least 11dpo to test with them 😅

I just wish it would happen as easily as it has seemed to for everyone I know!

Sending luck!

crazychemist · 26/11/2019 18:10

Maybe I should get a frer rather than internet cheapies in that case.... as I’ve been trying so long, it seems like such a waste of money when the most likely thing is that it will be negative...

Had some more bleeding today. I’ve not had this before - anyone know if implantation bleeding can last more than a couple of days? Apologies for tmi, but it’s nothing like how my periods usually start, there’s only a very small amount of it and it’s brown and stringy.... not sure if I’m just deluding myself? Confused

LEBW · 26/11/2019 20:40

@crazychemist I haven't had any bleeding but my close friend sent me a pic of hers from when she was (she's very graphic haha) and that's exactly what it was like dark brown almost rust coloured and without sounding gross, almost snot consistency.

I caved and did a test, how pathetic Blush it was a negative obviously but I'm sure I saw a super duper faint line, tried to take a pic but it didn't show up.

I'm probably just hugely clutching at straws here.

OP posts:
crazychemist · 26/11/2019 21:50

Bugger, probably out this cycle. Lots more blood and it’s bright red. At least I had a longer luteal phase than I’ve had since DD, so maybe better luck next time.

Fingers crossed for a darker line soon @LEBW!

LEBW · 27/11/2019 10:23

@crazychemist you don't know! You may still have a chance.

I did a silly test again today, and no line. And any symptoms I thought I had, have definitely gone. Again another month of tricking myself I think. Will still test over the weekend but would be very surprised if I get a BFP Sad

OP posts:
crazychemist · 29/11/2019 16:50

Nope, definitely out this month. Really heavy bleeding today and pretty crippling pain - could stand up all the way straight. Fortunately my school nurse had paracetamol, ibuprofen and codeine..... still been really struggling to get through today. So definitely out.

Everyone else testing tomorrow? Fingers crossed for you all, I’d love to hear some good news.
