Is this a positive ovulation test ? Clear blue advanced

I have tested for 8 days now and I have had flashing smily for 7 days.... when I release the button and the stick u chuck away comes out I looked at it today and thought there was 2 lines on it which there hasn’t before does this mean I am ovulating and test hasn’t picked it up ?
I’m so confused....

Is this a positive ovulation test ? Clear blue advanced

When I do opks sometime the surge window is so narrow of get a faint line AM and by the afternoon it would be a strong line and then in the evening faint again.

They're invalid if u open them it says in the instructions. Id say you're not far off ovulating though. Test twice a day so you don't miss your smiley x

I used clear blue advanced. Is this the 1st month your using it? Its common to get only 'highs' for the first month whilst it learns the levels you produce. I only got 'peaks' in the second month of using it, and this was when I conceived.

FWIW I never had a strong line on ANY OPK, makes me think my LH surge levels must be fairly low.

Do u think u didn’t conceive in the 1st month because u didn’t have sex when u peaked ? Did u just not have sex enough ? I don’t know if I should carry on having sex every night ? U til I’m due on ?

Sorry to jump on here - is this OPK a negative? It's so hard to judge what colour it should be. I tested 2 days ago and there was nothing x

It's negative, you'll always have some lh in your urine. The machine measures a level in your pee that has to be at a certain level to indicate the pre ovulation surge.

The green one is also negative, the test line has to be at least as dark as the control line

@Tenerife12 no I defo had sex enough, I think its just didnt happen that month.

I think carry on testing and maybe have sex once every 2 days. Next month the machine will get to know you better

I use the clear blue ovulation ones and I always have two blue lines even if it's a low peak day. Apparently it is quite common to have quite a few flashing smiley faces some months keep testing and I'm sure you'll get a peak soon. Oh and are you using first morning urine like they suggest to use? Smile

I got another flashing today lol!!! Honestly everything I get one I think oh god..... still gotta have more sex. I think my husband is sick of it now... who would think they get some of having sex 😂😂

I used the sticks last month (like Abs1232) and never ovulated according to those! This month I tried the clear blue ones at the same time and had 5 days of flashing Smiley's followed by 48 hours of static smiley. Maybe it was me, maybe it was the tests who knows. Will know next week if they have helped though! Fingers crossed xx

@tenerife12 just keep going, I'd take reassurance that you have the flashing Smiley's which means you are having the build up, so would assume you will ovulate soon. I felt the same, DH said he felt like a sperm bank

That's good news!!

I'm on day 2 of flashing smiley and DH is away until Saturday... Hoping there's still a chance and static smiley doesn't happen until Saturday.

@Tenerife12 glad you got your static face Smile when I 1st started using these tests I would get a good few days of flashing smiley faces then my static face. I stopped using them though due to other issues going in but used them again this cycle and got 5 days of blank smiles and 1 day of flashing smiley then next my static face which lasted 48 hours so fingers crossed I've been lucky. I’ve just done a clear blue ovulation test and got a just a circle on to indicate I’m not ovulating the lines look like this I’ve been doing the strip ones and the have been getting slightly darker but I’m 15 days past when my period first started do you think I’ve missed my ovulation even though I’ve been doing my strips or do you think it will come
