PCOS ttc 3 years

I have PCOS and currently at 3 years my periods are all over the place and range from 34-38 days long And I seem to spot all throughout.
This cycle I’m on day 44 and haven’t had any spotting since finishing my period.
I’ve also for the last 5 days had some sort of sickness, stomach ache/cramps that feel somewhat like period pain as well as breast pains now and again like a quick shooting pain.
I’ve taken a pregnancy test today and it’s negative but for the last few days I’ve taken opks as I had a couple left and they seem to be getting darker with each one.
Could I be ovulating this late or maybe is this a early pregnancy and the hpt hasn’t detected it yet.
So confused and tired of waiting.
Anyone had similar experience?

I tested today and got BFN, my boobs are still sore and bigger than normal. I feel like I've been in limbo for weeks so I think I'm going to suck it up and see a doctor next week.

Yes same here I've never even caught a positive before this month! I did read somewhere online that a opk will go positive before a HPT but then I also read the opposite 🙈

Last month when I got a positive opk it was the first positive I'd ever seen, this made me take a pregnancy test as I'd never seen a positive one before and it was the end of my cycle, however I was already late at this point and had just randomly tested. So not sure at what stage the postive opk would of come, unfortunately the pregnancy didn't last x

I've had several positive OPKs this cycle, no period and not a positive pregnancy test. OPKs are not great for PCOS so I've read. Currently CD63

I ended up having ivf after trying clomid etc. I went private to speed things up and I have an amazing ds 2.5yr. There is hope but I was strongly advised that ovulation kits aren't accurate for PCOS sufferers and when I did try them they always came up positive. I wasn't actually ovulating at all.

Hi ladies mind if I jump in?
A little bit about me...
Iv also got PCOS, never had a "natural period" without being on some form of contraception such as pill, implant or provera.
We're trying for first baby and have been for 2.5years.
Started clomid October 2018 and worked first time but MC @5weeks, failed to respond for a further 5 cycles of clomid due to no ovulation even with dose increase so iv been moved to letrazole and currently on cycle 2.
With clomid and letrazole iv been having ultrasounds and blood work done as to track what's happening...

Just wanting to chip in with the OPK's and PCOS..
I brought IC opks which failed to show anything even on the 2 cycles I have ovulated..

Last month I used a CB digital ovulation test and it showed my high and peak days which were backed up and confirmed with my ultrasound scans.. so even though many OPK's say "not suitable for women with PCOS " it wont hurt to give them a go and it may give you some reasurance and knowledge as to what's going on in there :)
Be encouraged ladies and don't be disheartened x

Anyone had an update?
Mines a bfn still but the opks continue to get darker.

Still the same here getting negatives on cheap internet tests! Going to do a FRER tomorrow or Sunday morning, are you having any symptoms? X

Emcait07 · 29/11/2019 17:14

Nope other then this cold there’s nothing else wrong with me.
Think I’m out this month and my periods just taking it’s time.
I did a frer yesterday and it was bfn.
Do you have any symptoms still?

I had heartburn for the last few days.... and I keep getting aches and twinges but don't think it's anything :( I'm going to try clear blue digital opk next month, if AF evwr comes! Have you tried them? X

Mycrazylife85 · 30/11/2019 00:09

I still haven't had a period since September... cd66.. can not wait for Wednesday when I go to the doctors, although I was told in the phone my bloods were all 'normal'. There is no denying there is nothing 'normal' about this... they better book me in for a scan. I'm at my wits end. I can only describe it like I feel like my hormones are dormant. I feel nothing. When I first came off the pill my sex drive increased noticeably. I just feel fat, bloated and frumpy. Barely alive in the sexiness stakes

I have PCOS, didn't have a period for 3 years, got diagnosed, put on metformin, 9 weeks of blood tests to see if ovulating. All came back negative until last one about 2 months after starting metformin.
I now have a healthy 5 month old DD Smile
Still no period since though, I stopped bleeding a week after Csection. Back on metformin now.
Good luck all Smile

Ruby666 · 30/11/2019 01:16

I have pcos been trying to conceive since 2016! Been on metformin, tried clomid, lost a ton of weight so now my bmi is perfect but my periods are more out of whack than ever. Next step is laparoscopy and ovarian drilling apparently!

Literally at my wits end with it, I don’t drink I don’t smoke I’m not overweight I don’t know what else I could possibly do.
