So 8dpo was so tired I napped, twice. I never nap this is completely out of the ordinary. I was nauseaus and crampy. In the evening at 9.30pm I felt wet and found bright pink/red spotting but not enough for a tampon.

9dpo the nausea continued. Smell of bacon made me want to vomit. The spotting also continued but didn't even need a liner, mixed with cm. Still tired but didn't need a nap. Had to work.

10dpo (today) mostly fine, no actual nausea until I smelt some things (my favourite sweets smelled disgusting, a candle I usually like is like nail polish remover, a new packet of ham smells gone off) my SO checked each thing and all fine to him. No spotting until evening about 6pm. Cramping started at 8.30. Thought it could be menstural cramps and got slightly sad as I went and bought an early detection test. However, the cramps are ebbing and flowing and as I'm lying down to sleep, they are pulling toward my front, where as all my cramps for my whole life are focused in lower back, even on previous day's is focused on lower back. The bleeding is only maybe 1/5 of a normal tampon over the course of 3-4 hours. Where on a normal period I would expect to change a super tampon every 4-6 for the first 3 days.

So now I'm waiting til the morning as the test says wait til then as AF is due on Monday. This is driving me up the walls and the fact the bleeding is so light, the smell aversion and the now pulling of the cramps to my front is kinda....... Making me think there's still a chance. I've had months where I've been sure I was pregnant, but never had the cramping or smells like this, the bleeding would gradually get heavier and heavier but this is almost consistent.

Anyone else testing tomorrow morning? Keep each other company?

Hey @AloofHydra Smile its too early for me to test today but I'm happy to keep you company! All sound like good signs but I'm like you in symptom spotting!

Let me know how you get on! Even if you get a negative it may still be too early so fingers crossed for you x

I did test and it came back negative. And the period definitely did start and am on a heavy tampon. Gutted isn't even the word. I've had some very upsetting news that 3 women in my immediate family are all pregnant and due in may. 2 of them can't afford another kid (mentally, monetarily and are on their 3rd and 4th respective kids).

I'm so upset. Why is my body doing this to me?

I'm so sorry to hear that 😔 it's just a heartbreaking time. Have you been trying for long? Xx

Since June officially. There was one other month I thought I could have been, but none of the symptoms were like this month.
