EWCM but no temp rise 2 days later?

EWCM but no temp rise 2 days later? Has anyone else had this? I'm driving myself nuts researching and have read that it could be possibly slow rise BBT...but I've always had a rise the day after CM.

Is this a sign of low progesterone? I have quite low BBT temps before ovulation, but I got pregnant before so maybe it's not that. Has anyone else had EWCM but no temp rise 2 days later? How do I then pinpoint ovulation and time sex accordingly??

Stats about me: 27, miscarried in October, TTC #1 (before AF has arrived - been advised by doctors not to, but desperate to be PG again!)

Just driving myself mad today getting my hands on any conception book I can, using Doctor Google every 5minutes.. help!

Hi! Do you have a link to your BBT chart? My temp is always slow to climb after ovulation too, im 7dpo today and only just now have a 'decent' high temp. I tend to get a temp drop to my coverline too around 2dpo! Have a look at my chart:

Its possible to get a second oestrogen surge after ovulation, which means it takes longer for progesterone levels to dominate, which is my theory for a slow rising temp.

@blackpinkinyourarea hi thanks for replying. I used to get a high temp straight after ovulation so I’m not sure what’s happened, unless my miscarriage has confused things. How do you track ovulation? I just used EWCM this month as we weren’t going to try this month then decided to the day I got EWCM - so too short notice to buy OPKs! Thanks for your help :) glad to know I’m not alone in this!
