Pregnancy symptoms but BFN

I am due AF tomorrow (21/11) but for well over a week I have been feeling sick pretty much all day every day. I’ve been doing HPTs since Sunday but all negative, even the First Response early detection test was negative today even though it is supposed to work before your expected period. I have also been dizzy and have had a lot of cervical mucus. I never normally get any sort of discharge before a period but I have had an abundance of it every day for over a week. The only time that ever happened before was when I got pregnant in September but sadly that ended in MC. Also with that pregnancy I had a BFP right on the day my period was due, so I feel like if I was pregnant this time round I would have the same result. Also have very mild cramps which again is unusual because I only get period pains after AF has arrived, never in the lead up to it. Plus a weird tangy taste/feeling in my mouth!
Is it possible I could be pregnant but it’s just not detectable yet, even though my first one was detected so early?

I doubt it will help but I've felt the same all week too! I never feel sick normally but have tested so often this week as ive felt so rough and dizzy. I think I'm due any day now and resigned myself that it's probably been a bug and lots of optimism as like you I tested positive early last time I was pregnant. Hope it's not the case for you though x

@Bettie2192 same here, feeling really sick all day and dizzy spells too! My cycle tracking app says AF is due tomorrow but because this is my first cycle after MC I suppose there’s a chance that’s wrong and I’m not actually due for a few days. I think I’m gonna stop testing now and wait until Saturday morning when my urine concentration will be optimal lol (I’ve been doing tests in the evenings during the week). I don’t know why I’d be having all these symptoms if I wasn’t pregnant but I don’t wanna get my hopes up too much. Im trying to be more chilled about the whole thing since the MC.

Ive had similar thing.. strange feeling since trying. Sore lower back, metalic taste in my mouth, feeling woozy and mild period like cramps.

All symtoms stopped and i took a poundland test and got a BFN. AF not due to monday so thinking its still early.

Im thinking the same.. why so much symtoms with no BFP (especially the weird taste in mouth.. tang is the perfect word of how it feels!)

Still no AF yet today but lots of CM again, plus nausea and mild cramps. My boobs are starting to get really achey as well. I would just like a BFP or for AF to come, I really don’t mind either way, so I can at least know what’s going on!

Hopefully you get to know one way or another - the not knowing is definitely the worst. Especially when those symptoms sound so promising. Fingers crossed!

@Quiffy I’m such an impatient person I just wanna know what the deal is. No sign of AF tonight, not even a smidge. If I wasn’t having ‘pregnancy’ symptoms I would think I’m just having a slightly longer cycle and would just think I’m sure I’ll start in a few days... but if I’m not pregnant then why am I feeling like this?! And if I am pregnant it’s a bit mad that even first response early detection isn’t picking it up...

Hi can I join? I'm 4 days late for af, tested every morning this week and all bfn. Only 'symptoms' are cramping and lower backache for a few days, creamy/ewcm for a few days (loads on Tues) and just today feeling a little nauseous all day. But no +ve tests 😫😢

I am in the same boat as you ladies. I even thought maybe wishful thinking makes me "feel" pregnant, such as queasiness, tiredness etc. I am really trying not to be hopeful as I don't want to be disappointed. My AF (does that mean period?) isn't due until Wednesday! :( too long to wait

@MrsSkr it’s such a hard one to call unless you get a BFP because until then you think to yourself, why do I feel this way if I’m not pregnant? Am I ill in some other way or is it all in my head? So I really don’t know how to feel right now! So annoying. No AF for me today even though I’ve had cramps the last two evenings, especially last night. I’m gonna do a test in the morning to see if using morning wee rather than evening picks anything up!

@Edemummy yes AF means Aunt Flo lol. I feel like if I’m not pregnant and these physical symptoms are in my head does that mean I can never trust how I feel and I’ll just feel pregnant every month because I want to be :( also will feel a bit silly because I’ve been moaning to my husband how sick I feel all day every day and it might turn out to be my imagination :/

@Bettie2192 Its so hard! Af was due here on Mon so I'm def late now and no sign of her arriving. Iv been really nauseous today, tired and headache 😢 I done a frer and it was bfn xx

Ah thanks, it's the first time I am actually "trying" to conceive so very new to the jargon. I've decided that I am not pregnant as don't feel like I am - despite the nausea. Boobs don't feel anything at all and a lot of people on similar threads said boobs were the first thing to give it away.

Hey all! I'm in the same boat. Period overdue by 5 days. Got mild cramping and tingly nipples. Done about 7 tests now and all negative. I'm never late and more likely to be early with my period. It's getting annoying now!

The nausea seems to have gone today but my boobs are quite achey especially underneath and around nipples. Also haven’t had much CM today. So it’s like my symptoms are suddenly disappearing yet still no period...

@Edemummy I’ve decided for now that I’m not either haha but I will keep checking until I get a definite answer!

@Edemummy 5 days late for AF now and still negative tests. The nausea I was feeling last week wore off but I felt it a little bit again this morning. My boobs are absolutely killing me though :( discharge has cleared up as well. I’m hoping I’ll come on by the end of this week as my boobs hurts so much I need relief!
