Hi ladies, anyone who would like to join me on my ttc journey starting this month? We have a 7 year old son already and last year year exactly around this time I got pregnant with n.2. This pregnancy ended in miscarriage which was dragging for me from January until March. I had lots going on since then and only now ready to start again. I am on CD9 at the moment so waiting for my fertile window. It feels strange starting around the same time as last year and I am slightly anxious but excited at the same time. It would be great to share thoughts and feelings with someone on here so please feel free to join me! ❤

@Chanel05 Sorry you find yourself here. As one of the lovely nurses said to me 'it's really shit isn't it' (turns out she had been in the same position). I'm not sure there are any magic solutions, as you say, it's all chance. I have been having acupuncture though and love it - if only for some relaxation, it definitely helps my anxiety and I figure any support in that way can only be a good thing! Tonight I'm having dinner with a friend who has been trying for 3 years, and after 3 rounds of IVF is finally expecting her own little miracle, so if that's not a reason to believe I don't know what is. I guess we just have to keep the faith!
Hope everyone's enjoying the run up to Christmas, it's my favourite time of the year :) xx

Hello everyone! How are you all? Sorry, I havent messaged for a while. As I mentioned last time, I was going abroad after my ovulation got delayed. Well guess what...as expected, my fertile days came back right when I got abroad with a positive ovulation test on Monday evening.

Do you think there is still a chance? I was away from Saturday until last night...came back around 10 pm. We had an intercourse on Friday night...from Saturday I had a really fertile CM..positive test on Monday night. What usually happens with me is that I get a positive OPK and over night I ovulate so I am assuming I probably ovulated on Monday night. We then had an intercourse yesterday night...using a Preseed for the first time as well. My nipples are sensitive since yesterday (which usually happens for me after ovulation, so I'm positive I ovulated)

I am really annoyed it fell on these days that I was away and we couldnt have tried more. :( This exact scenario happend last year on our first month of trying..my ovulation got delayed and then we missed the fertile window. It must be the excitement or whatever in my head. :(

How is everyone getting on?

@tallulahhulah1 any updates? What was the spotting about?

@Chanel05 wow, it really sounds like you tried a lot. I dont even know some of the things. What were you doing when you conceived your daughter?

I only tried tracking my cycle by opks (cheap ones and digital ones too), tracking temps, CM and cervix position/openness. Then I've only tried Primrose oil and weve both been taking vitamins since the mc. Before it was just me. I only just purchased the preseed and used it for the first time yesterday so not sure but heard so much good feedback on it. I have to say that we sometimes do need a gel so I wanted to get one that wont interfere with the process Blush

Hi everyone.

So after 2 miscarriages, one being twins. I tested today, a little early as having my work night out tomorrow. We got out BFP. We are so excited but so so nervous. And obviously very anxious about the next few weeks. Keeping everything crossed! Xx

tallulahhulah1 · 14/12/2019 12:59

@Martina2311 I ended up getting AF so now we are trying again. I'm in my fertile window apparently and I have the OPK so will be testing when I'm peak!

@Jessem29 congratulations!! That's amazing news!!

Martina2311 · 14/12/2019 14:01

I am currently around 3-5 DPO. The reason why i am not 100% sure is, that I had symptoms of ovulating on Monday evening but my temp raised a lot only on Thursday morning. And in that case I would be super happy as I thought Tuesday was my last chance...

I experienced this weird thing last night, has anyone experienced something similar? Basically my nipples usually get sensitive around or straight after ovulation which they were sensitive..but about 3 days after ov it changes more into breast tenderness which gradually gets worse and worse. Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night sleeping on my tummy and my nipples were really painful...to the point that it woke me up! It probably sounds quite funny and weird but they were really painful lol I first noticed it but tried to sleep until I realized its so painful it completely woke me up. It got better when I changed the position but still they are rather painful to touch than sensitive as I am used to. I am not trying to make anything from it...I also feel like symptoms usually only start once implantation occured and that is still too early in my case. But I just found it really odd as it never happened to me. Also for some reason, I feel like my breasts would be usually more tender by now but its not that bad. Anyone experienced randomly painful nipples? lol Sounds so silly as I am writing it. I guess it might be just a bit different amount of hormones or something.

tallulahhulah1 · 21/12/2019 12:41

How are you ladies doing?

@Martina2311 how many DPO are you now?

I'm on my second cycle and I went crazy on the OPK and started noting my LH surges. DTD over that period so now on the two week wait all over again. At least Xmas can take my mind off it.

In saying that 4 days till Xmas!! :-)

Martina2311 · 21/12/2019 12:48

Hello ladies, I can't believe that I am writing this but this morning I tested and I got my BFP!! The whole morning I was so overwhelmed with emotions...I'm so happy but at the same time feeling scared and questioning myself if I am ready go through the same in case we are not lucky again...I am so grateful and feel so blessed it worked on our first cycle but also standing with my feet on the ground. I havent told my partner yet, still thinking if to tell him already today or leave it for Christmas. I was so getting ready to have a negative result because I didnt want to feel disappointed. I felt a bit different for the last week and I also noticed my nipples changed but I still refused to associate it with anything. When I tested I didnt want to look at the test for a while either 🙈 when I did, I really couldnt and still partly cant believe it. I was crying for good half hour. Not a happy cry. Just completely overwhelmed with different emotions...I am really quite scared but I hope this will calm down and I will think just positive.

I am really hoping for everyone else as I know we all deserve this after all that we went through. ❤

Jessem29 · 24/12/2019 12:38

Hi Everyone.

So 3rd pregnancy, first baby. Had two miscarriages this year, one being a twin pregnancy.

I am 5 weeks 2 days, and had some brown discharge when I wiped last night. This morning when wiping had some bleeding, and a tiny blood clot. Rang my GP and they sent me to the walk in centre. They have said go home and re test in 10days. As you can all imagine, this is very stressful. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and had a postive outcome. My first mc I bled, was alot and I new what was happening. My second I had to have surgical intervention as my body didnt bleed.

Thanks so much everyone x

Martina2311 · 24/12/2019 15:46

Hi @Jessem29 I am so sorry to hear this, I can only imagine the worry you must be going through because of this.

I've been pregnant twice so far (my son who is 7 now and a mmc in January) and I didn't experience any bleeding in the first trimester myself. However, I know that some women do have spotting or some bleeding and baby is completely fine. So bleeding in some amount is fine. I am not sure about the clots, if you can loose some as well as part of this.

What did they do at the walk in? Were they not able to offer you an internal ultrasound? This is very frustrating that you only need to wait and see what happens! How is the bleeding? Is it continuous?

I will be thinking about you and hoping that this doesn't mean anything. I can't believe if that's all they said at the walk in after all that you've been through.

Sending you some air hugs lovely xx

@Martina2311 thanks so much for your reply. They rang the early pregnany unit as my pulse and heart rate were so high and with my past history they were unsure what to do.
The EPU said as I am under 6 weeks to go home and wait it out. Re test in 10 days, I am to only go back if I am in pain. It's so frustrating. Iv had no more blood at all since this morning just brown discharge when I wipe. Nothing in a pad. Just feel so helpless. I am expecting an early scan that my gp sent me for due to my past history so hoping that will be in the year. I have also paid for one but that wont be until the 8th of January when I am 7 weeks. Feel like I am being punished. Ino it's silly but I feel like I am broken xxx

Martina2311 · 25/12/2019 10:17

Morning @Jessem29!

I know it's easier said than done..but try not to think like that. Although I completely understand. You have been through a lot already and this extra stress is just not fair.

The main thing at the moment is, that the bleeding is not getting stronger. While its just a discharge, it really may mean nothing. I know it is extremely worrying to see anything like that at all. The best would be to not have any of this, I know. I have to admit, that every time I go to the toilet, I keep checking whenever I wipe, myself. I know I would get really worried too.

How do you feel otherwise? I would say, if it's just a small amount of discharge, without any pains, try to think a little positive. That this happens to many women and you are thinking of it negative only because you experienced what you did experience, but in fact it might not mean anything. Although I am really sorry that this is happening to you, especially when you are supposed to be enjoying Christmas time. I will keep my fingers crossed that it all stops and you get your answers soon x

Martina2311 thank you lovely for your kind message. I have had no more bleeding since that one time on christmas eve. I am still having a small amount of brown watery discharge when I ocassionally wipe. Christmas has been a good distraction and has kept my mind busy. I re tested today and got a very strong line within 30seconds. I just need to see what happens. Hope you had a lovely Christmas! Xx

I am feeling really fed up today. Miscarriage in March at 9.5 weeks. Took 7 months to conceive with our first, 4 months on the m/c pregnancy. Now on month 9 and nothing...

Keep getting my hopes up and feel so disappointed each month.

Need a hug :(

Martina2311 · 29/12/2019 11:18

Morning @Jessem29 how are you doing honey? When is the first scan you are attending?
Hey @postersophied1983 Welcome! Sending you a virtual hug, you are being so patient, I know it can be really frustrating when it's taking long. What have you tried on your ttc journey? Maybe we can give you some tips if there is something you havent tried yet?

Hi all,

I hope you had a good Xmas and ready for the new year.

So this cycle I decided that I wasn't going to put myself under to much pressure and really monitor my ovulation times.

So I'm currently 12po (CD26) and I ordered some pregnancy tests just so I didn't end up spending a fortune. So I test it out and think what the hell and ended up getting a BFP!

I'm a little bit in shocked as I have been really ill and just thought my cramps plus aches and pains was just down to me getting a real bad cold (was staying in today anyways). And my headaches were just part of it. So I didn't pay any mind and didn't want to go symptoms crazy.

My AF is not due till Thursday so going to test again then and see how more brighter the line is. A little bit shocked and told my DP who is excited!

But fingers crossed it all goes well with this time around. Eeekkk

Heeey @tallulahhulah1 that's some wonderful news honey!! You dont know how happy I am to be reading this, that's an amazing step into the new year!

I've had exactly the same and talking with other friends, it seams like it is quite common to get a sudden "cold" or feel a bit down on energy. At 5 dpo already I felt like I'm coming up with something, nothing too serious but was just out of energy, slightly raised temperature, headache..but just like you, I thought you can feel all this before your after is due or it's the time of the year anyways.

Congratulations and keep me posted! 🤗

Well it's definitely something to look forward to for 2020!

Deff will keep you posted!
