Hi Smile

My first day of last period was 26th October, I ovulated on 7th November and I am due to get my period on friday!

Since about 5 day after ovulation I’ve been getting mild period like cramps which I never normally get. I remember having them when I was pregnant with my first child but cannot remember when they started.

Dying to take a test because I am just too inpatient but don’t know when’s best to test?

The frer you can use about 6 days before AF but gets more accurate the closer you get. Standards ones I think say wait until you have missed AF but you might get a faint response earlier x

PassMeTheGinPlease · 17/11/2019 19:52

I'm in a similar situation to you. Last period was 24/10 and ovulated 8 or 9/11.

I've tested already and BFN... maybe too early as AF is due Wed.

Swollen boobs, very veiny! Cramps on and off, metallic taste.

I really hope I am or I'll be super disappointed.

Fingers crossed for you too. I'm thinking of waiting now until AF is due. I can't stand the disappointment!

K x

@Sammyclaire22 yeah that’s what I thought. I’m too impatient to wait but then I’m scared to test really incase it comes up negative. Can’t really win lol x

@PassMeTheGinPlease oh fingers crossed for you too.

It’s the most frustrating time waiting. I think I’ll wait too. Let me know how you get on Smile x

I got both bfps around 10-11 dpo but had symptoms before.

PassMeTheGinPlease · 17/11/2019 20:27

Baby dust! Will keep you posted and please do let me know how you get on. Fingers and toes crossed 🤞

I wouldn't test too early tbh as if it's negative, you'll wonder is it really negative or just too early!

OliviaParker18 · 17/11/2019 20:29

@Dinosforall what symptoms did you have if you don’t mind me asking? I’m only 10 DPO today but I’ve been having cramps since 5 DPO. Only symptom I’ve had but I remember having that on my first x

@BeThere yeah that’s what I’m thinking. 5 days just seems ages away, I’m just being impatient lol x

I'm in quite a similar boat but one day ahead of all your dates. I took a FRER test today but about lunchtime as had to buy one and it was definitely negative! Now I'm wondering whether it's down to it not being first thing..

I've got another one which I'll probably take tomorrow morning as I won't be able to help myself haha, however id always say wait a bit longer to everyone else!

OliviaParker18 · 17/11/2019 20:38

@Mrspeak I took one about 2 hours ago and got a negative. And I’ve been thinking the same, is it just too early, is it because it wasn’t first thing in the morning? Lol. I don’t know why I can’t just wait but it seems impossible. Promised myself I won’t test again now until Wednesday which will be 2 days before I’m due on.

Let me know how you get on Smile x

Hi ladies. I am in a similar boat. Not sure when to test really. I had a d&c following my second miscarriage in september. Since then I had my period 22 October. My usual cycle is 25-27 days. That now making me a day late. I dont no if that's normal because of the d&c. Or I am pregnant. It's the scariest thing ever so scared to do a test as I dont want to get excited again. (Iv had 2 consecutive miscarriages) xx

PassMeTheGinPlease · 18/11/2019 12:26

@Jessem29 So sorry for your losses, it must be really devastating. I have fingers and toes crossed for you this time 🤞

I am now going to wait until AF is due which is Wednesday for me. Constant BFN's are disheartening. I don't want to get my hopes up too much, the closer it gets to my period date the more fed up I am but I've read somewhere that many women don't get their BFP until after AF is due. So you never know. TTC is hard work emotionally! 🙈

Please do let me know how you get on and when you decide to test.

I am also going crazy!
Weirdly, since my periods returned in May after giving birth in December, I have had a short cycle one month and a longer cycle the following month.
Each short cycle has been 25 days. I am due a short cycle this month, following the pattern, and I am now on day 26.
The longest cycle I have ever had was my last one - 31 days. The wait is excruciating!
I know when I ovulated this month, and did a test to confirm. Did the deed the day before and four and five days before also. Fingers crossed!

OliviaParker18 · 18/11/2019 13:48

@Jessem29 so sorry for your losses :( praying this month is the one for you. Maybe give it a couple of days and if AF still hasn’t shown up then do a test? Let us know how it goes x

@PassMeTheGinPlease yes think I’m going to wait now, AF is due Friday. It’s just such a stressful time. I try not to think about it but it seems to be on my mind 24/7. Yes and let me know how you get on :) fingers crossed for you x

@Liverbird77 the wait is just the worst! Please let me know how you get on Smile x

So sorry for your losses @Jessem29, that sounds so tough. Keeping everything crossed for you that you've conceived this month.

I got a BFN this morning with a FRER so think I'm out this month as period due Thursday. There's a chance of a false negative but I was getting clear positives before this with my first so not holding out any hope! Keeping fingers crossed for everyone else!

PassMeTheGinPlease · 18/11/2019 14:11

@Mrspeak The game's not over until AF arrives. Fingers crossed for you.

Jessem29 · 18/11/2019 14:25

Thank you everyone for your reply. Unfortunately af arrived today! I feel ok as we hadn't made an effort to try this month with only just having the mc.

Wishing everyone else all the luck. I really hope you all get your positives xx

Chlosavxox · 18/11/2019 15:38

I got a very very faint positive on a FRER at around 9dpo, then a strong positive 48 hours later

Lori86 · 18/11/2019 19:09

I'm in a similar boat. I had a wee boy last October & we started trying this month. My last period was on the 25th October. My cycle is all over the place though, it came back 3 months after having ds but hasn't settled into a consistent pattern. It could be anywhere from 27 days to 30 so don't know when to consider it late!! Due af Thursday ish. Best of luck everyone x
