Evap line or faint positive?

So... I havent been on any contreception for a few years now. Me and my fiancee arent actively trying to conceive but would be happy if it did happen!

We usually use the withdrawal method but a few weeks ago we got abit merry and ...oopsie... (I'd like to add it was the last day of my period and I also have scarred ovaries so I kinda thought/think theres not much chance for me)

I'm due on my period in 3 days and couldn't help but take a test, I know its early! :(
I'm so confused, I dont know if this is an evap line or a faint positive :( I feel like im putting ideas into my head

Did it come up in timeframe?

When I took the test yesterday It was lighter than that (in the timeframe). The photos were taken this morning because it had got alot darker n made me think something of it 😖 xx

I would test again tomorrow as your hcg levels double every 48 hours. Let us know how u get on x

Not yet! I've got some tests coming this evening 😖 I'm feeling like its going to be negative and I'll be so disappointed x

With it been so thin, I'd say it's an evap sorry.

Mmm I think this is an evap line sorry, it's very thin and looks grey to me. Plus it's not a good idea to re check tests after the time frame as so many will dry with a line on them and can give false hope

I did, I used a first response and looks negative to me unfortunately 😔 I'm due on in 2 days so I'll just have to wait and see. Pretty sure it was just a evap line on those original tests 😔

I can see a line! Im having the exact same problem with the same tests. Did 1 yesterday morning (11dpo) and I could have swore there was a line but convinced myself it wasn’t. Thought I’d try again this morning and nothing. Then did one tonight and there was a slight line again. Trying not to get my hopes up as I’ve been trying for a while now! First time I’ve had even a slight line. Good luck! Also my first time posting but I obsessively read threads from other people in the same position as me during the two week wait!

Ahhh laurr I'm exactly the same as you hun haha, first time posting on here but I religiously read through everything on mumsnet haha! I feel like I'm a pregnancy guru and I've never even been close to pregnancy yet 😂🙈 please let me know how you get on with your faint lines! Xx

How are you getting on? I got my clear blue positive today! So turned out the faint line was correct and mine were much lighter than yours xx
