Am I fully insane or do I see the hint of a line on the left here? 14DPO, no sign of my period which usually arrives after 13DPO latest and terrible headaches. Temp also still high. Thank you!

Sorry it looks negative.

Good luck

PrimeraVez · 15/11/2019 11:27

I see it, but it is quite faint for 14dpo. Are you sure you didn’t ovulate later? Maybe try a FRER if you can get one. At 14dpo that should give you a very clear answer.

Peanutty86 · 15/11/2019 11:28

I can see it too. What sensitivity is it?

rosie2345 · 15/11/2019 11:43

Thanks all. It's a boots early response one, I don't know how they stack up compared to FRER. I've bought FRER ones to use tomorrow. Agree I would have thought it would be darker at 14DPO if positive, I chart my cycles with my temperature and my temp has been elevated for 14 days now so I think I did ovulate two weeks ago. Hmm.

Peanutty86 · 15/11/2019 12:11

Do you maybe want to share your chart?

DuchessMustard · 15/11/2019 12:12

There is no line there OP.

DuchessMustard · 15/11/2019 12:13

At 14dpo you get a completely strong, clear, dark line that comes up very quickly

rosie2345 · 15/11/2019 12:19

Here's my chart. For what it's worth, I'm not actually TTC - though I could cope if I was. I mistook the first day of my period for spotting and had unprotected sex on day 6 when I wouldn't normally have it beyond day 5. Been practicing FAM for two years. It's because I know that my luteal phase is never (historically) longer than 13 days and I made that mistake that I'm going crazy with the tests. Agree it should be darker now if positive, but have seen other women on different forums get positives after such light lines or BFN on 14DPO so I guess I just don't feel I can be sure yet.

@DuchessMustard not necessarily.

DuchessMustard · 15/11/2019 13:05

OK, I'm not in the business of encouraging people to have false hope so I'm out of here. Best of luck OP.

Peanutty86 · 15/11/2019 13:05

@rosie2345 Chart looks very pregnant, but then again occasionally the LP can be off by a day.... unprotected was quite a while before ovulation, but still possible. Any chance the protected sex wasn't bulletproof at all?

Peanutty86 · 15/11/2019 13:06

Also, have you shared in the kindara community? I found them very helpful.

rosie2345 · 15/11/2019 13:14

Thanks so much @Peanutty86 for bearing with me! Protected was perfect use condoms so I'm sure it wouldn't have been that if I am pregnant. Unfortunately I already shared this chart in the Kindara community at the time I realised I'd made the CD6 error, and for some reason Kindara doesn't let you share the same chart twice. I know I just have to wait, but it's maddening not knowing one way or the other! It's reassuring (for my sanity if nothing else) that you could see what I was talking about on the test!

@DuchessMustard it's seriously not to worry, like I said I'm not TTC so it's not getting my hopes up, just trying to get my head around how possible or not it is that the wee faint line I could see could be something or not. I really appreciate your input so don't worry!

OP posts:
Peanutty86 · 15/11/2019 13:24

Ugh yes you can only share it once so people don't spam re-sharing their chart every day... it's great but sometimes you just need to ask a question and can't unless a few people have already commented... sorry it's a waiting game for you. It doesn't seem too tragic either way though, which is good. There's always the option of doing a FRER too and see what that comes up with. Hope you keep us updated.

DuchessMustard · 15/11/2019 13:25

@rosie2345 That's good to hear that you'll be happy with any outcome Smile

All the best.

rosie2345 · 15/11/2019 13:35

Thanks so much @Peanutty86 !

Ah that makes sense on Kindara. Yeah, I bought a two pack of FRER tests and I'll use one tomorrow. I would use one today but I don't want to waste the money especially as I think the boots early response one that I used was pretty identical to FRER...it looked the same just without the branding? www.boots.com/boots-5-day-early-pregnancy-test-1-test-10271019

I'll definitely let you know what happens tomorrow though (or if I get my period before!)

OP posts:
Peanutty86 · 15/11/2019 13:45

I think they make them look similar, I've only ever used FRER and ICs though so no idea how they work.
Thank you, hope it turns out the way your heart wants it to...

knackeredandcrackers · 15/11/2019 13:52

I've had an issue with these tests before and if you look at it before you even use it you can see a faint line.
Hope it works out for you whichever way you want it too.

rosie2345 · 15/11/2019 14:03

Thanks @knackeredandcrackers - yeah I'm thinking that could definitely be the case. I literally just have to wait I guess which is a pity as that is not my forte!

@Peanutty86 - you are so sweet. I definitely will let you know what happens as I hate it when these threads go cold! hope you have a lovely weekend! Smile

OP posts:
rosie2345 · 16/11/2019 07:00

Update @Peanutty86 - test was negative at 4am this morning (I didn't sleep a wink!) and have started very light spotting and some more cramping...so I'm guessing I'm not pregnant as today is at least 15DPO from my chart!

OP posts:
knackeredandcrackers · 16/11/2019 07:40

It's so frustrating when the tests are giving misleading results. Those boots ones are especially poor.
Hope you're ok

rosie2345 · 16/11/2019 08:05

Thanks @knackeredandcrackers ! I'm ok, actually not TTC so it would have been a shock but we had a method failure on CD6 so I was just paranoid. Definitely learnt my lesson on the tests though, the FRER test I took this morning gave a much clearer negative than the Boots one did, so I'll definitely just be using those in future even though they are more expensive!

Thanks for letting us know 😊

rosie2345 · 18/11/2019 15:38

So....still no period! I had one day of light pink spotting with a teensie bit of pinky red blood but that was it. My periods are always really light, they normally only last one or two days but I always get good, red blood. Not sure what to think now!? Test still negative, temps still high at 17DPO, but chart doesn't look triphasic (pic attached)...what do you think I should do!?

What would you do/think @Peanutty86 !?

Peanutty86 · 18/11/2019 16:50

Hm..... I guess there's no way POD1-4 are questionable and actual ovulation was THAT late? I suppose it's a waiting game but personally would probably waste another FRER with afternoon/evening wee as per my experience for some reason they came up stronger than my FMU tests... it is strange that temps are still high. Has the spitting completely stopped today? Are you on any meds/herbs/stress....?
