Should implantation bleeding = pregnant enough to = BFP

I am 13dpo. Yesterday had a BFN. Would normally start period 2 days ago. Today got tiny about of pinkish brown bleeding.

Wondering if it’s possible to be an implantation bleed but still have a BFN??

It could be if your hgc levels aren’t high enough yet, which if embryo has only just started attaching could be the case. Wait a couple days then test again if no AF? Could try more sensitive but more expensive test x

I’m in total shock. Yesterday the test was negative and I thought my period was starting

Was taking it today purely because it told me to (I have the clear blue fertility monitor). Otherwise I just would have kept waiting for my period.

Hi, first of all congratulations! Wonderful news. Can i just ask opinions...so af is due in 9 days ovia is telling me 9 days to test but ive had spotting this morning...well just when i wiped after i got up which is now almost non existent...could this be it? Or am i clutching at straws here.

@Bethy1995 yeah it could be early IB can occur around a week after ovulation at earliest so I believe

I know! The combination of spotting and a BFN tricked me! Obviously posted here wondering and today no period and the CBFM made me test. I only did it because it asked!!

How exciting!! I literally just searched 'implantation' as yesterday, literally like 9pm, I had brown when I wiped.

Today it went a little pink on my pad, then back to brown and now nothing!

But I just did a test and bfn!

So I am hoping it's not impending af. Due on Monday!

Spotting made me think AF was arriving I was convinced as it was around right time! Until it never got heavy then stopped altogether.

@littlepeaegg my BFP was the day after the implantation bleeding. Will you test tomorrow??

@Mollie3 I know!! I may have tested today anyway I guess, because AF hasn’t arrived. But if I didn’t know better I’d assume it was coming as feel a bit achey down there.

Only early pregnancy symptom is tiredness!

I tested tonight and bfn! I'm going to wait and see if it's just af !

@peanutfoldover Yeah feeling period like pains is all to do with implantation, I got them all day one day, expected bleeding any minute but implantation spotting had stopped by then..
@littlepeaegg it’s so annoying early pregnancy symptoms are basically PMT so just got to wait and see which way it goes 🤔

Yes apart from I haven't had any of my usual pms symptoms! My nipples usually hurt so much and they don't at all. Boobs aren't as sore and I usually have to take painkillers for cramps but haven't had that!!

Also my cervix is soooo soft ive never felt it like this before!

So if my af is arriving, my body is very cruel into tricking me!!

Had my lmp on the 24/Jan.. can’t tell when I ovulated.. but today after peeing I wiped and saw a pinkish viscous discharge... could it be implantation bleed.. ????my period is due by 20 feb.
